"Calling all rogues, knaves, scoundrels and thieves!" A vast syndicate both hidden, and feared; the TRUE guild of shadows and political influence. 'Rogues Fortune' is a themed Rogue Tribal deck that has answers for most sticky situations. It does absolutely everything a Rogue does; steal their creatures, cast their spells, send their things away for good, and deal damage within the shadows when no one's lookin'!

'Rogues Fortune' is centered around tons of combos, but focuses solely on what Rogues are good at- being unblockable- and doing nasty things when damage is dealt. Since this is a combo deck, I'll now take the rest of your time by just posting SOME of the combos we have here (all of them would be kinda frustrating). So here's the major ones!

Bribery and Eye of the Storm: Likely win condition; Mind if I just play your deck, sir.
Notion Thief and Lore Broker : Draw what should have rightly been theirs! Also, here buddy, discard whatever you DO have.
Stolen Identity with any of the major "deal damage do this" artifacts: Quietus Spike, Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Light and Shadow . Lets also not forget Grappling Hook giving em double strike to do damage dealt abilities all over again.

Not as much a combo as it is a frustrating sector of this gang: Knacksaw Clique and Hidden Strings /Pestermite. Throw in Earwig Squad and Sadistic Sacrament say goodbye to those cards you love dear and most, kids.

A very minor combo, BUT one that has helped me MANY a time: Lurking Informant and Wizened Snitches . Them Snitches are also great for my favorite steal spells: Bribery and Knowledge Exploitation.

Again, the combo strategy here is all about dealing damage; Rogues are very well informed and 'shady dealing folk', and so the support of Black Market, Night Dealings, and Larceny only made sense.

Figurehead gang leaders of note: Sakashima the Impostor "We wear many faces"Sygg, River Cutthroat "The power to hold versus the power to take!"Oona, Queen of the Fae "Your resources, clearly, aren't as reliable as mine."And a personal favorite of mine, to make one Rogue the BOSS Rogue: Stoneforge Masterwork! Its like Coat of Arms but better...someones really going to hate me for that statement.

Experiences playing this deck:So far this deck has been working VERY well in both multi and one v. one for me. It gains momentum pretty fast, and has the ability to come back hard if doing little in the beginning. Cards like Thieves' Fortune, Preordain, and Ponder really help 'set the stage'. It has a good flow of "Return that to your hand, now discard, now exile," or "put that on top of your library, now mill one/now I cast that- gee thanks for the dude." The Steal spells are without a doubt my favorite part, but the deck doesn't rely on them to win. Sure there's a decent amount of looting and no 'max hand size' cards, but I've yet to have trouble with that yet, as there are things that work with that Auntie's Snitch , Marange River Prowler and Buried Ruin. The looting aspect is simply great for getting to what I need 'now'.

enter image description here My main reason for building it is that Rogues are by far my favorite creature type, and I hadn't ever had nor seen a Rogue deck through and through, that not only centers around Rogues, but also functions like a Rogue-like guild; with stealing, and cutting out someone's resources, etc. Hopefully you like it as much as I do: Suggestions and upvotes are very much appreciated!
