My deck is mainly based around cards that allow you to tap your creatures to do certain things. Get Kumena out on turn 3, and with other merfolk on the battlefield, you can immediately swing for 2 damage, which doesn't seem like much, but once you start adding up all the merfolk, it can lead to big crazy attacks. I also have the Kiora's Follower and Illusionist's bracers (you need a copy of Kiora's Follower to do this) combo. While searching, I realized it was better just to use Tidewater Minion, although it is more expensive. This combo lets me untap everything I control, use more of the abilities, untap infinitely, so I basically make my creatures as big as possible, get as many as I can onto the battlefield, and then see if I can swing for lethal. I use a lot of cards to draw cards and bring down the cost of my merfolk, untap them during other people's untap steps, which is really powerful with Vedalken Orrery, because you can basically have 3 additional turns (If you're playing in multiplayer) to play your spells and draw cards. That is powerful combined with Rhystic Study, which gives you so many cards to use on your "extra" turns. I'm trying to get a lot of card draw out of this deck, but I don't know how to get it paired with my creatures so I'm not just running around with random cards that don't really benefit the rest of my cards.
