Once again thank you for the amazing feedback. Alright i might have misread that then, but i think i will primarily work with untap effects, unblockable and a very little sub theme with +1/+1 counters to utilize other effects and gain more damage since the merfolks don't have crazy power so the attacks with unblockable will be more effective. I have never really worked with these themes before and they synergies perfectly with Kumena :)
Deepchannel Mentor I agree that the CMC takes it down some places, and with the multiple islandwalk merfolk, its effect is not out of the world. Altough it has done some work for me in my playtesting against my own decks, so once i have gotten the cards around release i will see how it plays out in my Meta. But it is on my possible cuts list, altough it's one that is a bit higher on the list to might stay.
Fallowsage: It has already done a lot of work for me in my playtesting and i really like it, so i think this one will stay. Its perfect when you drop this on curve with Kumena and then tap it to make kumena unblockable and draw a card at the same time. I do see the strong potential in Sage of Fables and if i find enough things to cut, it is going right in. Maybe swap it with either Triton Shorestalker or Mist-Cloaked Herald, although i do like these one drop unblockables :)
Grimoire Thief: Good point, i will take it into account, i am trying to run a lot of untap abilities so it might turn out to be good. Intially i thought i could use it in a responds to a board wipe, but i might have blanked for a second when i read it the first time :)
Riverwise Augur/Silvergill Adept: I agree, Riverwise Augur has already been cut for some of your previous suggestions to increase the potential of Islandwalk. Suprisingly Silvergill Adept has done very little work in EDH, i often draw it before i have my engine up and running and as the only merfolk in hand so here it is useless at least, so i think it will be cut very soon once i figure the number of cuts and adds :) But then i can use it in a standard deck i might want to try out :)
Time Warp/Savor the Moment: Yes, i kinda wanted to try out some extra turn plays as i have never done that before with my limited play of blue, but i do have Wanderwine Prophets who will likely do some of that work very excellently, and then i could maybe use them in a heavy control EDH build i am thinking of building :)
Neurok Stealthsuit: It would be an interesting include, but i have realised it does not synergies very well and you are right about the mana cost as well. I hope i can find my copy of Plaxcaster Frogling somewhere, cause i really like this one as a utility creature :)

Glad you liked some of my suggestions! As I said, I wasn't sure which route you wanted to take so I summed up some options for different strategies. In regards to cuts you could make, I'd consider the following cards:
Deepchannel Mentor: This card has not pulled its weight for me in my Sygg, River Guide deck so I've taken him out after almost a year of testing it. It seems like a heavy investment to me when I have other options like Lord of Atlantis and the likes. If anyone had a different experience with this card I'd be glad to hear them out, but until that time, I'm not convinced.
Fallowsage: You really need an enabler to repeatedly tap/untap it. This card does nothing in and on itself, unless you attack. Not to push you, but Sage of Fables enables you to draw cards indefinitely, either pulling counters off creatures that are leaving the battlefield or using it during an Opponents EOT in Tandem with Kumena's 3rd ability.
Grimoire Thief: The ability is a nice finisher but I wouldn't count on it to do much milling unless you really focus on a tap/untap strategy. Unless you can consistently go infinite with this I wouldn't play it.
Triton Shorestalker: there's enough evasion enablers in this deck to cut this. This could also count for River Sneak, but sneak's secondary ability makes for some explosive plays if you have the right cards.
In regards to the Maybeboard:
Neurok Stealthsuit: with all due respect to chadsansing, stealthsuit does offer protection, but at UU in a Bi-colored deck, I'dd rather have something like Plaxcaster Frogling. it's a colorshifted semi-Sygg, River Guide, it works at instant speed, It synergizes with the deck and its ability costs colorless mana, which offers you more flexibility.
I've already started in taking apart Edric and rebuilding UW Sygg, I will post the results in my decklists.

Cyclonic Rift is a Staple on EDH decks that use blue mana.
Other than that you have a nice deck and as a fan of tribal maybe i give it a shot (i don't really play with blue unless it's paired with green, so it would be an nice experience)

I'm trying to build a wizard tribal deck with the cards I own, focused around Docent of Perfection Flip and Sigil Tracer The cards listed here are the ones I want to use, still have to filter them before uploading a built deck. Please help me with ideas (any combo you see among the cards I propose???). Keeping it budget or zero purchase is the main goal.
The cards are:

If I was nominated king of your list, here's what I'd do to cut cards and swap others.
And set aside all your cards designed to give islandwalk, unblockable, or turn lands into islands. Reduce this to a more compact package with redundancy rather than "this only works if I also have..." type cards.
