My first attempt at a Commander deck. This uses Ghave, Guru of Spores to generate infinite: mana, damage, life, recursion, creatures, creature size... You get the picture. The combos generally include one of the altars, a creature like Champion of Lambholt or Juniper Order Ranger and Ghave, Guru of Spores himself. Other notable combos include Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion, Squirrel Nest + Earthcraft and things with persist + ghave + altar + a variety of cards including Field of Souls .

A lot of the time, even if you can't go infinite, you can repeat cycles infinitely, which is where cards like Blood Artist shine. There is also a strong token sub-theme, as well as standalone cards such as Tooth and Nail to grab the traditional Craterhoof Behemoth + Avenger of Zendikar.
