This is not a fast deck, mind, play this as a control deck. Heck, perhaps it is a control deck. After all, it is about controlling your opponent's creatures and keeping them in check.

Typical play is: steal ehhh...borrow something and then kindly return it (cough sacrifice) it to your opponent's graveyard. It is always good to return something you've borrowed (and take good care of it as if it were your own cards) ;) .

Shepherd of the legions of doom is Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper: a straight forward commander that gives you the alusive graveborn tokens for each creature that dies while unde ryour control. And believe me, this deck gains strength from Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper, but does not need to have him in play in order to win.

The Devoted

All are Chosen because they have synergy with Sek'Kuar, but also function on their own if need be. Solemn Simulacrum, for instance, or Sakura-Tribe Elder, Dawntreader Elk, Burnished Hart, and Viridian Emissary; they must be close friends with Heart-Piercer Manticore. Oh and Wild Cantor is in a league of her own.

Sacrificial Altar of Success

The deck does not really have an altar, I realise. But it does have a Birthing Pod, and a Malevolent Awakening, and there are spears on Attrition. But let's face it Goblin Bombardment is a ballista. And where Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord is the master of ceremonies, the Flesh Carver is his tool, and the Scourge of Skola Vale just eats them. And it all occurs in the Grim Backwoods...or High Market...they are not really picky. Phyrexian Plaguelord is all rolled into one.

Oh, before I forget: Prossh, Skyraider of Kher has his own set of devotees.

Reanimation

Get goodies back (to sacrifice them again): Sepulchral Primordial, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Charnelhoard Wurm, Genesis, Eternal Witness. Wake the Dead is also fun , be sure you have something to sacrifice the newly born zombies to at the end of the turn so you get Graveborn in return.

Populate and Stuff

Else Sek'Kuar's graveborn feel lonely: Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Primal Vigor in the sideboard. Not to forget: Gutter Grime (and Prossh and Wurmcoil Engine) loves these cards too.

Card Draw

Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper loves to read and gain knowledge, or power, or both: Deathreap Ritual Skullclamp, Garruk's Packleader, Harvester of Souls

Controlling the Masses

Insurrection is a win condition, Mob Rule and Mass Mutiny can be pretty effective too. Helm of Possession is control and sacrifice rolled into one.

But Dictate of Erebos, Grave Pact, Butcher of Malakir are sick in this deck so don't feel disappointed if someone tries to destroy them. I mean, you'll be sacrificing a lot of creatures here.

Conquering Manticore, Jeering Instigator: finally in one of my decks.

Some Damage

We've already been through the sacrificing for tokens bit, well, this deals damage when you sacrifice something (or something comes into play): Warstorm Surge, Vicious Shadows, Stalking Vengeance

Note on the Sideboard

Primal Vigor: The fact that it is a global effect makes it less versatile in this deck: when playing against another token deck, this is not something you want

Sidisi, Undead Vizier: love to have him (her?) in this deck, but I am unsure about what to take out
