Cool deck. You could use The Moment to phase out your dragons so they won't get exiled, then pop it or destroy it with Hoard-Smelter Dragon to get your dragons back. Also Goblin Engineer might interest you as a way to tutor for your best artifacts.

Fun deck. So far this is the only deck I have found that has combined Myr Battlesphere with the Hoard-Smelter Dragon.

How does this deck do for speed? Did you ever upgrade it?

Hey, you're welcome.

To add the two drop ramp sources (Fellwar and Steve) you could simply cut some lands: Underdark Rift and 1x Forest. Jeska's could replace Wild Endeavor. Greaves could replace Indomitable Might. Utvara could replace Neverwinter Hydra.

Some other cards that could be upgraded on a budget.

I might put back in Boros Garrison, Hoard-Smelter Dragon, and/or Return to Dust from the original deck. If you put Zirda in the 99, you don't have to conform to the restriction. That only applies if you use Zirda as companion. My sweet spot on lands is 36, so you might be able to have extra room there, especially if you have lots of artifact ramp. My preference for your expensive card would be Unwinding Clock, Akroma's Memorial, Panharmonicon, Esper Sentinel or Darksteel Forge. I think they'll have utility in lots of different decks. Good luck!

@5dollarMTG: Thank you for the Deck list! Love this one, it’s fun and annoying. Only downside is playing against an opponent who can easily get rid of your Myr Landshaper. Hoping for a Liquimetal Coating while having tons of (useless) artifact-destroyers in your hand can be painful. For this reason I added a few Welding Jars just in case. Having one Hoard-Smelter Dragon in the deck seemed enough for me, since surviving until you draw it is easy after having played Splinter :)

Hoard-Smelter Dragon offers a decent mana-sink.
