I agree with the Cuban. Rites of Flourishing is more of a 'group hug' card.
For an Edric, Spymaster of Trest deck, you have surprisingly few unblockable creatures. Yes, you have stuff like Ghostform and Artful Dodge , but those only work once. Why not go over this list and pick out some small evasive creatures, so you can trigger Edric's effect multiple times? Also, I feel that any blue deck that doesn't run Capsize or Forbid is not running optimally.
Besides i have had plenty of times where ill play rites and my opponent gets the benefits from it and then destroys it before i can actually use it
I would suggest that nice Deep-Sea Kraken on that list, and also card:Jace's Archivist. The archivist plus Consecrated sphinx can get really ridiculous.
With all of the drawing you are doing, why not Psychosis Crawler ?
i suggest Sphinx of Magosi and Aeon Chronicler and a must have Arcanis the Omnipotent
oh and i forgot Biomantic Mastery is freaking good draw card in edh
You need Sun Quan, Lord of Wu .
prime speaker zagana would be an amazing add when gatecrash comes out

As much as i like rites in edh its a bad idea to allow extra card draw and mana ramps to your opponents when you dont have to i suggest switching it out for Skyshroud Claim and a Jace Beleren does real nice in any EDH especially for his -1 ability.
