This is my Marath, Will of the Wild EDH deck. It is one of my best and most consistent decks. Though I don't play it very much because it's too easy to go infinite. I have tried to build the deck to be able to not go infinite but to not build the deck this way, literally means to actively gimp the deck and it ends up not doing anything meaningful in a game of commander. Other than that, I don't like decks going infinite as I said in my player profile.

Its almost too easy to produce infinite mana in this deck because of Marath. Ashnod's Altar + Doubling Season + Marath, Will of the Wild , Cathars' Crusade + Mana Echoes + Marath, Will of the Wild , Marath, Will of the Wild + Doubling Season + Cathar's Crusade + Mana Echoes, Cathars' Crusade + Marath, Will of the Wild + Parallel Lives , Marath, Will of the Wild + Food Chain + Parallel Lives + Doubling Season, Doubling Season + Marath, Will of the Wild + Phyrexian Altar , Food Chain + Mana Echoes + Marath, Will of the Wild . There are too many ways to make it happen in Magic. You'll want the tutors in here to tutor him out when and if he gets tucked.

People hate it but Armageddon effects should be played in commander once in a while. It is effectively a win condition in this deck. Once you have the infinite mana combos assembled, you need to blow up the lands in order to prevent anyone from stopping you. However, I try and use Armageddon for either punishing heavier ramp decks than I, (looking at you Azusa, Lost but Seeking )), or when I have Avacyn, Angel of Hope or Elspeth, Knight-Errant out.

Other than that, this deck is a blast to play and play against. Several in my play group like borrowing it. It is a heavily resilient deck to board wipes and the like.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite is in here for two reasons. One, she allows you to be able to do token beat-down if you need. Two, she ironically is very good against rival token strategies. Prossh, Skyraider of Kher is a heavily competitive deck and is played a lot in my meta. Elesh Norn is great against him.

Chord of Calling ......... Chord of Calling....... what can I say? Besides Green Sun's Zenith and Natural Order, Chord of Calling is one of the best green tutors in the game. Chord of Calling is in here for tutoring up the two hate bears in the deck, [[Dosan the Falling Leaf and Grand Abolisher. You really need to stop people from doing stuff on your turn when you are about to win. I absolutely hate it when your win is stolen from you when someone has flash and essentially made you waste your turn.

Tutor for Fecundity when you can. The card is BONKERS in this deck..... absolutely bonkers. Like Ghave, Guru of Spores, Marath, Will of the Wild is kinda broken with it. If you can't get Fecundity, use Stoneforge Mystic or Enlightened Tutor to search for Skullclamp. 2: Draw two cards is insanely powerful.
