I decided that I didn’t like playing Yidris and cascading a huge spell into a small spell and feeling like I was losing value, so I made it into a solitaire deck that just plays a ton of small spells and then storms your opponent out in one way or another.

The cards intended to win this game are Aetherflux Reservoir and Aria of Flame, but you can also fall back on Tendrils of Agony, Grapeshot, and Talrand, Sky Summoner.

Yidris is the lynchpin of this deck, so I’m acutely aware that the deck is lacking in removal or protection and I leaned into that with the intention that once Yidris connects, you should be able to storm out, maybe requiring another combat if cascades don’t work out. If Yidris gets stalled too hard then I just accept the loss.
