This Riku deck started with me trying to optimize my early-game sequencing in my other Riku deck. The game plan is to ramp on turn 2 and on turn 3, even if we have to be tricky with something like Regrowth or Founding the Third Path to do it. Lots of cards are secretly ramp cards. On turn 4, cast Riku. Depending on which cards you ramped with, you'll hopefully have 1-2 mana to protect him with something like Essence Flux (which lets us re-use ETBs later on), March of Swirling Mist (which is always good protection, or a fog), or a good old-fashioned Lightning Greaves or Counterspell. Next turn, cast and hopefully copy something that'll refill your hand, and grind value until you can tutor or draw into Adrix and Nev, Twincasters or Parallel Lives and one or more token cards that'll push you over the edge when combined.
