Planeswalker (1)

Enchantment (1)

Instant (1)

In case you aren't aware of the spoilers yet, as this decklist is being made before tapped out has been updated to include Kodama of the east tree, the card is 4GG, a 6/6 partner commander with "Whenever a permanent enters the battlefield under your control that did not enter the battlefield with this ability, you may put a permanent card with equal or lesser mana cost from your hand into play."
This is obviously very powerful. Our primary use for this is in making cards uncounterable by cheating them into play, it also lets us dump lands from our hand later in the combo.
We are playing Silas Renn, Seeker Adept for his colors, if a more efficient or better U/B partner legend is printed, we will be playing that instead.
The goal of this deck is to execute an Aluren loop, or to assemble an infinite combo.
Combos Include:
- Aluren+Cloud of Faeries+Any Recurrent Bounce
- Aluren+Cavern Harpy+Parasitic Strix
- Shrieking Drake+Cloud of Faeries+Earthcraft/any of our land enchantments to produce infinite mana
Once we manage to produce infinite mana, our lines for victory are very simple
- Thassa's Oracle
- The existence of Jace, Wielder of Mysteries
- Eternal Witness and any recurrent flicker to cast any spell in our deck forever, I would recommend Assassin's Trophy or maybe Swan Song on one of our own spells. - Flickering Rishadan Cutpurse to just clean up the board a bit.
- Finale of Devastation
We generally want to attempt to combo quickly, and if that fails to fall back onto our value engines with a more controlling presence.
We are of course playing a decent countermagic suite, with some powerful interactive planeswalkers like Oko, Thief of Crowns and Ashiok, Dream Render.
If we can manage to stick a decent recurrent draw effect like an escaped Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath or Dark Confidant we can do quite well. The average CMC of a card in our deck is very low, so go through Ad Nauseam with confidence, stopping reasonably around 5, or higher if you need life to flicker Cavern Harpy.
Aluren is probably our single most valuable card. If we can get it into play, our combo becomes INFINITELY easier. Protect it at nearly all cost, with few exceptions.
- Lim-Dul's Vault let's us dig to any card we want, specifically, Aluren. It isn't the most efficient tutor, but consistency is king.
- Timetwister, while not expressly needed for this deck, is very powerful with effects like Notion Thief, and is a solid recursion effect to pull valuable pieces of the yard if our recursion is out of reach. It is tremendously disruptive to graveyard based strategies, and can be a nice refill if we run out of steam (which we tend to do quickly). That being said, if you are trying to make the list a bit more budget, it would be one of my first cuts.
