Dimir control is really streamline deck. Kill and Counter. That is the gameplan. Unlike UW control UB color combination gives tons of amazing removal spells.

UB control shines in fair match ups thanks to good removal for creatures and planeswalkers (also enchantments if needed) but its biggest weakness is noncreature artifacts (Academy decks) because the deck lacks real answers to those kinds of decks.
