Orzhov Syndicate: The Orzhov Syndicate is the Ravnican guild of business, where the values of white and black meet and the dead exist solely to rule. Nearly every business in Ravnica ties back to the Orzhov in some way or another. While they bear the facade of a religious group and may have been a true faith at the signing of the Guildpact, they now worship only profit and power.

The theme of this deck is to be the dictator of all removal and controlling what creature(s) get to survive. Using the prowess of your creatures killing themselves to cause multiple triggers to happen across your board, via your aristocrats pinging everyone, massing a large token army, or just out weighing with card advantage. Time for your opponent to pay up their dues or risk the price of their creatures or worse, their lives.

With Teysa Karlov being the commander the primary focus is to have the focus be on the death triggers your creatures will have to advance your board and hinder your opponents. Most of the low drop creatures are the one you want to die and have a death trigger, such as Orzhov Enforcer, Hunted Witness, & Doomed Traveler. As the late game comes into focus, the deck shifts to an Aristocrats engine with multiple sack outlets (Aristocrats: Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat. Sacrifice outlets: Phyrexian Altar, Ashnod's Altar, Yahenni, Undying Partisan). This deck may lose creatures it controls fast but your opponents will be losing them faster, and never worry their is good amounts of revival spells with Unburial Rites & Sheoldred, Whispering One to return our creatures.

Now to close out the game with your win is very tricky but easily obtained. Remember that Teysa Karlov doubles triggers that involve dying. So running the cruellest infinite combo in the game when playing Aristocrats, Sanguine Bond & Exquisite Blood. Other ways to win is to take the token army we can create and Alpha striking for high amounts of damage. The last resort win condition is Approach of the Second Sun; winning with Approach is very easily when you can cast it than tutor for it than cast again.

We are the Orzhov Syndicate!

"The form of the sigil is just as important as the sigil itself. If its carried on a medallion, its bearer is a master. If its tattooed on the body, its bearer is a slave."
