Zur the enchanter/EDH/Combo/Doomsday

Precursor: This is one of the most competitive decks currently in the commander format (Zur is NOT legal in 1v1 EDH) and therefore comes with some guidelines. Due to the fact it is so competitive if you play this deck expect to get a ton of hate from all players. This means you will most likely at one point in the game have to play against all opponents at once when they see you are way ahead of the curve so play your hands sparingly/accordingly based on board state.

This is a EDH combo deck based around combo off of two permanents at a time to win or to simply win with a Doomsday play and Lab Maniac. The combos are as follows: Rest in Peace and Helm of Obedience to exile a players entire library, Bitterblossom and contamination to lock down all nonblack players from having mana they need, Empyrial Armor and Necropotence augmented with unlimited hand size to one hit kill with commander damage, Stasis and Triclopean Sight to make Zur be able to continue to attack and fetch enchantments while all players don't get untap steps. Lastly, if none of these tactics work then you can try for a Doomsday win with Laboratory manic on field (Important note, never play Labman unless you are going to win on the turn you play him, cards with split second can ruin your dreams of victory...). The best doomsday pile for this deck (With lab man on field) is currently (From top to bottom): Meditate, Force of Will, Pact of Negation, Brainstorm, Whatever you want. This pile can also include lab man and you can win same turn as well but you need much more mana at once. You can change this pile around many different ways in this deck and it can still be effective, its always situational. In addition, other piles can be made with Yawgmoth's will, Gush, Lion's Eye Diamond, Gitaxian Probe, and Laboratory Manic that are much more effective.. but aren't in the deck to due my personal cost right now. Of course many other piles work as well and are usable.

Extra fun included in the deck: -Combining Necropotence and Solitary Confinement to take no damage and have shroud as a player and always have cards to discard. This also works with land tax in play -Rest in Peace and Energy Field to take no damage -Mystical tutor at end step and play a time walk with Temporal Mastery -Play Ad Nausem at end step and draw most of your deck to win the following turn, this works very well due to the fact the average CMC of this deck is 2.1
