This is my take on Merieke Ri Berit !

This is an artifact-centered deck that abuses the ability to tap and untap Merieke, artifacts, and resources ( Minamo, School at Water's Edge , Magewright's Stone , Mirran Spy ).

As they are the theme of the deck, protecting your artifacts is a huge priority. Luckily, Esper (white especially) offers a variety of ways of doing so. Indomitable Archangel and Padeem, Consul of Innovation make your artifacts untouchable, while Avacyn, Angel of Hope , Darksteel Forge , and Soul of New Phyrexia give them indestructible. If an opponent has a mass removal spell like Cyclonic Rift or Merciless Eviction that get around indestructible, then you have Teferi's Protection in your back pocket.

One cool thing about this deck is the ability to "cheat in" very mana expensive artifacts for little to no mana. Arcum Dagsson allows you to sacrifice an artifact creature and tutor any artifact in your deck and put it on the battlefield. Sacrificing a 1/1 Thopter and putting Mycosynth Lattice or Darksteel Forge on the field for free is really powerful. Another slightly different variation is Master Transmuter . Master Transmuter allows you to pay a mana and swap an artifact that's on the field for one in your hand. Swapping a Sol Ring for Memnarch or Mycosynth Lattice is pretty sweet.

Win-Cons:

Infinite Mana: ( Pili-Pala + Grand Architect ). There are a few ways of winning with infinite mana. -You can make an infinitely large Hangarback Walker and make (theoretically) an infinite amount of 1/1 Thopters. -You can draw an infinite amount of cards with Blue Sun's Zenith and play Laboratory Maniac . -You can make an infinitely large Walking Ballista , which equals infinite damage.

Creating a 5/5 Artifact Army: ( Mycosynth Lattice + Tezzeret the Seeker ). Using Tezzeret's ultimate ability (which, considering he only needs to survive one rotation of the table, isn't hard) with Mycosynth Lattice on field turns every permanent you control into a 5/5 artifact creature that can almost certainly deal lethal.

This is a really fun deck that I'm currently working on getting some of the kinks out. Let me know your thoughts and any suggestions!
