Deck idea for a Locust God deck built around drawing cards, making insect tokens, and burning fools. Meant for multiplayer.
The idea here is to lay low until you can setup playing The Locust God and some card-draw to generate a few tokens. Add in an engine, wheel effects, and some other good stuff here or there to win via burning fools, a swarm of flying insect tokens, mill, and with a few heavies for good measure.

Ixalan Updates Show

1. Blue Sun's Zenith out, Overflowing Insight in. Fun stuff here. 7 cards and probably 7 insects for 7 mana! Its the Locust God's lucky day.

Playtest Updates Show

1. Opposition out, Wash Out in. Opposition is a terrific card that stifles the competition with your board-state advantage, but it's been ruffling feathers at the table. This deck benefits from the tempo control.
2. Frantic Search out, Theft of Dreams in. Looting is fun and all, but in practice, bigger, splashier draw spells are better; we just don't have enough 'yard attention to warrant filtering things down like that. Also, I wanted this for a Kess, Dissident Mage deck.
3. Azami, Lady of Scrolls out, Curse of Verbosity in. Azami's is needed with Kess as well, and I want to test out this curse. It seems a potent deterrent, and semi-reliable bug maker. Be warned: drawing isn't a 'may' ability.
4. As Foretold out, Deluge in. Another Kess, Dissident Mage casualty. This swap should open up a few attacking lanes.
