Wow! That's what I thought when I first saw the new Selvala. I HAD to create an EDH Deck around her. Well, here it is:

Primer

The Commander Show

She's awesome! Ramp and card draw in one card. Just try to protect her one or two rounds and then ramp your way up to infinitely powerful creatures. She's your win con, so don't let her slip away.

Reading this Deck Show

Reading the deck is quite simple. It's mono-colored so you only profit from greens advantages. Which are quite a bunch! Creatures that grow infinitely, enchantments which give you card advantage and some rear cover and artifacts that help you ramp even better and combo off with infinite mana.

Deck colors Show

As stated before it's mono-green. Which means:-an awesome pool of ramp cards (which you hopefully won't need most of the time)-strong creatures-great draw mechanics-and awesome artwork!

Deck Strengths Show

With Selvala you can ramp like crazy. As long as she's on your battlefield you won't be mana screwed. The deck's also very aggressive! You won't have many unavoidable win cons but a tremendous amount of strong creatures which will trample your opponents down! There are also many options for a decent card advantage.

Deck Weaknesses Show

The deck's fast and strong but still needs some turns to move forward. Especially if your opponents are constantly able to remove Selvala. The deck needs it's commander. Also there's a decent amount of good cards to support your strategy but only very few cards to stop your opponents strategies.

The Strategy

General Strategy Show

Cast Selvala early in the game, cast creature after creature and let her ramp get better and better. And draw cards in between. Don't hesitate to cast your hydras for less mana than you want them to be (as long as its power is at least 3 or better) 'cause there will be other hydras which are at least as good as the one before. However, there are hydras which are better to be cast early an some you wanna spare for later. Therefor check early, mid and late game sections

Early Game Show

Cast Selvala as early as possible, maybe together with for example Gyre Sage, Omnath, Locus of Mana, Drumhunter or Sakura-Tribe Elder and start with hydras that won't have any disadvantages when they're cast early on, like Managorger Hydra, Feral Hydra, Protean Hydra or Heroes' Bane.

Mid Game Show

Strengthen your army, cast even bigger hydras like Lifeblood Hydra, Hydra Broodmaster, Genesis Hydra and so on and profit not only from there strength but also their abilities. Try to get Brawn into your graveyard, to guarantee that you won't fail before your opponents defense.

Late Game Show

Your hydras died to mass removal? Cast cards like Paleoloth ot Genesis to get them back. You should also get your hands on cards like Umbral Mantle or Sword of the Paruns to let Selvala strengthen on her own.

Mulligans Show

You want two to three lands in your hands and one or two hydras you can cast early on. Also Support ramp cards and combo cards should be kept.

Combos Show

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + Umbral Mantle :

That's propably the strongest infinite mana combo in this deck. You need only 3 forests on the battlefield to get this working. Use one forest to get two mana in your mana pool, use those two and tap a second forest to untap Selvala. She gets +2/+2. Use the last forest to use Selvala's ability again, now you get 4 mana. Three to untap, +2/+2, ability, 6 mana and so on. That way, Selvala's power is sky rocketing to infinity, as well as your mana pool. Cast every card you like.

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + Sword of the Paruns or Staff of Domination

Infinite mana combos as well. The only thing you need is a creature with power 5 (sword) or 6 (staff) or bigger. The good thing with the staff is that once Selvala produces mor than 6+ mana you can go infinite mana + draw your whole deck + cast your whole deck. That's super mega awesome!

Helix Pinnacle + Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + Umbral Mantle

Instant win. produce infinite mana and win the game.

Omnath, Locus of Mana + Selvala, Heart of the Wilds

Omnath grows stronger whenever you use Selvala's ability and her ability profits from his growing strength.

Since this Deck is mono-colored there's not much to say. All lands are self-explanatory

Creatures Show

Hydras:

There are a lot of Hydras in this deck 'cause of their variable power. They work perfectly fine together with Selvala. Many of them also have other useful triggered abilities like Genesis Hydra (Tutor) or Lifeblood Hydra (lifegain and card draw). Works great!

Protection for all your creatures and itself. Only mass removal can do something now!

Bane of Progress

Artifact removal

Nylea, God of the Hunt and Thunderfoot Baloth

Trample is important here.

Genesis and Paleoloth

Two creatures to get your creatures back from the graveyard once they died.

Gyre Sage

Mana Ramp and it grows bigger, too as long as you keep the fatties coming.

Omnath, Locus of Mana

Great synergy with Selvala and a bomb if played early.

Terastodon

Important removal.

Ursapine

Boosts all your creatures. Great synergy with infinite mana combos.

Verdurous Gearhulk

A fattie that can be played early for a decent cost or as support for even stronger creatures.
