Great deck! I have an Omnath deck as well and it's my favorite EDH deck for years now! Us Omnath players, we gotta stick together!

I used to have a very similar build to yours but wanted to try a new approach and that's when I tried to integrate some infinite combos as well as many other good working synergies and wrote a primer about it. Tell me if you liked it and maybe you find some interactions you wanna try, too. I'd be happy about it! Or maybe you also have some new ideas how to make the deck more efficient. Here it is:

Love Yidris! But I realized myself that when playing him he normally is the first target of EVERY removal spell. So I began to try to protect him as much as I can. In Yidris' color combination are a ton of cards that can give you additional protection like:

Vexing Shusher: Can't be countered AND protects every spell you cast. Totally awesome!

Swiftfoot Boots: I know that not everyone is a fan of Lightning Greaves since they are not allowing you to enchant Yidris yourself..but the boots are totally fine!

Asceticism: Is also a perfect card to offer some protection even if they get lethal damage.

Now for card draw. One problem with Yidris is that he's only good if you have enough cards in hand. Therefor I'd recommend Jori En, Ruin Diver since she ALWAYS triggers when you cast a cascade spell. Also Rhystic Study is something I wouldn't underestimate. Of course you don't want ALL your cards in hand but at least a decent variety of possible next spells.

Hopefully, that helps!

After some more changes and really good recommendations I believe my Omnath deck gets better and better. Thanks to y'all! Now I'd especially like to know what do you think about the infinite combos? Are they worth playing a card that otherwise has no use (Thornbite Staff? And I still struggle to get the combo pieces. Do you have other tutors for artifacts and enchantments in mind than Hoarding Dragon? Also, I'd like to put Hour of Promise in here but am not sure what to cut. Hope you can help! Maybe you also like what you see!

Since there are white vampires in Ixalan... maybe a mardu colored vampire tribal and a mono-blue wizard tribal? That way each color would be implemented two times and it would fit at least the art of the vampire card.

Ilmu011 Thanks for your comments. I'm happy you like it! Nissa is a cool card but I'm not sure if letting your lands become creatures really is a good idea. That way they are much easier to remove and although I normally possess a huge mana base there is often that point where I need every bit of mana to cast Omnath again..'cause in my meta I think it's the creature that gets removed the most. I will have to playtest her and tell you my results!

Ilmu011 Please don't forget to comment on my deck since those are the rules of this thread ;)

hoardofnotions, you are totally right! I founded that combo on outdated rules where you have to specify if your playing the additional land drop which you hypothetically could do over and over. Just realized that now. Thanks!

Very nice deck! There's a decent amount of all cardtypes, I rarely see anything that I would change immediately. +1 for that! Since it's a voltron deck I would give you the advise to at least play Swiftfoot Boots or Darksteel Plate to protect your general. Also, Progenitor Mimic works really well in a blue green tribal deck! I'm sure you already thought about that card but Coat of Arms is another great way to pump your creatures. Maybe also try Riptide Replicator? Hope that helps!

I recently updated my Omnath deck and now he's stronger than ever (at least I hope so). I took the time to write a primer for this version for you to get an ideal overview of all cards, normal combos and infinite combos (especially since I haven't seen any Omnath deck yet that concentrates on going infinite). Let me hear what you think!

Another idea: Did you think about adding Endless Sands? I mean, this is an absolutely great evasion land! think about it: someone wants to kill/exile omnath. You pay 2 and exile him and sac the land afterwards to return him to the battlefield whenever you want. And bring back the land with CoW. I don't know about your meta but land destruction is not that common in our meta.
