Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Maybeboard

The appearance of Surrak and the developing viability of Wedge decks made me want to create a Temur deck for fun. I had thought of making a Temur midrange standard, but I knew that it would eventually become an EDH, and so decided to just bite the bullet and make a Temur EDH from the get-go. After watching various videos online, I noticed that a lot of players were running Animar decks with ONLY creatures, so I decided to follow suit. This is my version, seeking to control the board through ETB effects and Praeters.

One thing I want to particularly mention is Palinchron. I'm not a fan of the card, and have refused to play it in the past. I am currently running it, however, due to a need to be able to close out the game when necessary. Yes, this means that I can now go infinite with Deadeye Navigator (or Animar itself), though the main purpose in the deck is just to get more value out of my other etbs. I may eventually decide to take Palinchron out of the deck, but for now I'm leaving Palinchron in. It's certainly a powerful card, but I do urge people to think critically about the card before deciding to play it themselves.
