This deck is Lyzolda good stuff, more or less, the result of years of playing and updating. It is the pride and joy of my EDH decks, and my goal was to make a swiss army knife in my favorite colors that can also combo off out of the blue. My main philosophy behind the card choices was that each card should have more than one function, the card should have an immediately powerful impact, or the card should have good sustained impact.

A lot of the classic Rakdos combos are in here: Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood, Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead, Mikaeus the Unhallowed + Triskelion (alternatively, Mikaeus + Phyrexian Altar + Murderous Redcap), Isochron Scepter + Final Fortune + Sundial of the Infinite, Sword of Feast and Famine + Aggravated Assault, and Kiki-Jiki + Zealous Conscripts. There may be others I've missed. I'll update the description as I find them.

The major stax piece here is Nether Void, and in my experience, it's all that's needed. A three mana tax on every spell played is suffocating. Thankfully, cards such as K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth and Bolas's Citadel allow us to advance our board state despite this (and potentially play some interaction, too) while Sneak Attack cheaply enables creature-based combos that avoid Nether Void's oppression entirely.

There's also a decent selection of removal and wrath effects here: Terminate, Dreadbore, Bedevil, Liliana of the Veil, and Murderous Rider deal with pesky single targets; Damnation and All is Dust wipe the board. Visara the Dreadful is a kill spell on a stick (and a pet card of mine), and Isochron Scepter with Terminate accomplishes a similar effect. Karn Liberated gets around the Rakdos limitation of not being able to remove enchantments (as does Ulamog's on-cast effect).

There's a decent variety of mana rocks here too; Sol Ring and Mana Vault are present as are Mox Amber, Darksteel Ingot, Rakdos Signet, and Jeweled Lotus, among others. Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual are also present. The Reaver Cleaver is the last notable ramp piece.

The tutor package is one of the parts of this deck I'm most proud of. Demonic and Vampiric Tutor are both present, as are Beseech the Mirror, Dark Petition, Diabolic Intent, and Liliana Vess, among others. I like Rune-Scarred Demon because he pairs well with Kiki-Jiki and is a solid beater. There is also tutoring in the form of Razaketh, who can hold down the board by himself by finding the right cards. The most unique of the tutors is Entomb; it's only purpose is to put Worldgorger Dragon in the graveyard. Last but not least is Ad Nauseam, a well known cEDH staple.

Other utility cards include Sensei's Divining Top, which pairs well with Bolas's Citadel, and Necropotence. Necropotence's presence by itself needs no justification, but it is worthwhile to mention that it can turn Greven, Predator Captain into a finisher by mimicking the effect of Hatred. Dark Confidant is here for gas.

The last major part of the deck is the beaters for if combos aren't working. Rakdos, Lord of Riots is here due to his efficiency and the fact that he reduces the late-game commander tax that generally gets obscene. Rakdos the Defiler and Rakdos the Showstopper make appearances as pet cards, but Defiler can lock an opponent out of the game while Showstopper's ETB is something of a boardwipe. Ulamog is there to deal with enchantments (or anything else that needs destroying) and then wreck face. He also serves as mill protection.
