Obosh, the Preypiercer
Legendary Creature — Hellion Horror
Companion — Your starting deck must contain only cards with odd converted mana costs and land cards. (You may reveal this card from outside the game before you start and declare it as your companion. If you do, your deck must follow the companion's restrictions. You may pay to put this companion from your sideboard to your hand at any time you could cast a sorcery. This action can't be interacted with or countered. You may only choose one companion for your deck before the start of each round.)
If a source you control with an odd converted mana cost would deal damage to a permanent or player, it deals double that damage to that permanent or player instead.

Latest Decks as Commander
Obosh, the Preypiercer Discussion

Partner commanders are powerful, and often free your deck's ability to do more than a single commander deck. Companions give decks restrictions on what cards they can run. By running both it limits your deck even more, since most partner pairings don't work with the companion requirements.
Yorion, Sky Nomad and Lutri, the Spellchaser straight up can't be run as companions, and Jegantha, the Wellspring won't work since it requires five colors, and no partner pairing currently allows for it. No partner pairing also allows for Lurrus of the Dream-Den. Gyruda, Doom of Depths also can't be run, since no partners are both even cmc and have black in their color identity. Kaheera, the Orphanguard also can't work, since the types aren't found on partners that can be run together.
Now, what lists are now able to be run?
Wow, that only took a half hour longer to write up than expected.
Which of these would you want to make, if any, and how would you make them?

Sorry for the long absence on this deck.
xram666: That is a good point. I ended up cutting the latter three cards you mentioned (Puppeteer Clique is quite strong in my meta). For those three, I slotted in Sol Ring, Commander's Sphere, and Sword of the Animist instead of another land. I may decide to swap Commander's Sphere for Arcane Signet if the draw is unnecessary.
multimedia: I considered the potential inclusion of Obosh, the Preypiercer as a companion, but I worried the deck building restriction was too much. With the recent change to companions, I do not think it is worth it. He may still make it into the 99, but not as a companion.
Thank you both for the suggestions!

This deck was so annoying to play against... but also hilarious at the same time. Maybe some new additions could be Torban, Thane Of Red Fell and Obosh, the Preypiercer. Both give you a little extra damage when you make contact.

I have noticed that a few of my pioneer decks using Obosh, the Preypiercer are showing up as not pioneer legal despite Obosh being legal. Obosh is highlighted as red, and I assume this means she is the issue. Not sure if this is a glitch or I am doing something wrong. Here's an example:

Hey, Obosh, the Preypiercer can really increase the damage output of your entire deck because Greven is odd 5 CMC. Don't use the companion ability if you're just playing it as a card in the 99. However, my suggestion is to use Obosh as companion because of Greven as well as many cards that are good with Greven are odd CMC.
Odd CMC creature base example:
- Blood Celebrant
- Hex Parasite
- Wall of Blood
- Lightning Skelemental
- Ball Lightning
- Rotting Regisaur
- Archetype of Aggression
- Combat Celebrant
- Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker
- Zealous Conscripts
- Gray Merchant of Asphodel
- Heartless Hidetsugu
- Chainer, Dementia Master
- K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth
Kiki can repeatably make a token copy of a nonlegandary creature to sac to Greven. Kiki is also an infinite combo with Conscripts for infinite Conscripts to attack or Celebrant for infinite attack steps.
Other Odd CMC cards:
- Sol Ring
- Dark Ritual
- Phyrexian Arena
- Scheming Symmetry
- Beseech the Queen
- Basilisk Collar
- Mass Hysteria
- Hammer of Purphoros
- Chromatic Lantern
- Coalition Relic
- Toxic Deluge
- Tragic Slip
If you like the idea of using Obosh as companion then if you would like I can further help you with adds/cuts.
Good luck with your deck.

Thanks :-) I'm giddy with the thought of having an army of Chandras on board. I think Chandras are the most common PW and one I most one to build (though a battalion of Gideons is also funny). Figuring out the curve/balance on this will be little challenging. I'm going to fiddle around with it some and appreciate the suggestions.
I started adding some cards into inventory and it's giving me an estimate of what it would cost to buy the remaining cards, which is nice. Maybe there will be some sweet card upgrades with the Chandra Spellbook coming out next month.
There's a number of red decks I've been thinking about and might try developing some and putting them up here. The Lady of the Mountain would be cool flavor but probably not enough to bother. I want also want to a double themed deck with double damage, double strike, double attacks, probably with Obosh, the Preypiercer. I've been think about a Sneak Attack type deck with Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded or Feldon of the Third Path. Probably similar kinds of deck building and balance issues for both or monored generally.

I'm a big rakdos fan and kearvek is my favorite rakdos cmdr so far. I'm a timmy type player who likes to have 25 to 30 creatures to a deck. I want to make a deck based around damage not life loss. I also want most of the creatures and enchantments to do passive or direct damage. I dont want a rakdos creature hate group slug Enchantment deck.
The deck is built I'm just looking for improvements.
The deck link is here. Kaervek+obosh
I'd prefer the suggestions to be made on the deck page. Thank you all in advance.
