I've been buying the commander pre-cons since they came out but I had the first generation stolen from me long ago. I'd not had a chance to play with my favorite commander of that generation, The Mimeoplasm, since. But now, thanks to my local card shop, I will resurrect the Mimeoplasm and his deck in all it's glory. Quick note that I know this isn't the BEST the deck could be, but is the cards I have on hand and has a ton of flavor. If you wanted to be the BEST mimeoplasm deck, you'd probably put in ALOT of field wipes, spot removal and counters.

Star players for this deck are Walking Ballistae/Triskelion + Lord of Extinction/Sewer Nemesis/Consuming Abberation. This combo can end the game if it's past turn 10 or so, but it is formidable at almost any stage. I've seen this create a WB/Trisk with 60+ counters on 4 out of 5 runs with the deck so far, which is a great reprisal threat to anyone looking to remove or wipe your creation.

Mikeaus can go infinite (Triskelion) and semi-infinite with a few cards in the deck, creating devastating loops (Glen and Woodfall), So just keep them in mind if you need time and need reanimation targets.

Muddle the Mixture is nice, but can grab you some key cards if you transmute it. Like Mesmeric Orb, Animate Dead, Life//Death, Hermit Druid, Keys to the City, Etc.

Keys to the City and Hermit Druid can NOT be underestimated on their Utility. If you notice, there aren't too many basic lands, so there are times when you use Hermit Druid and more or less crit and win the game. I've gone through as many as twenty cards at a time with this guy. Keys can't get you that kind of power, but it does supply steady card draw and on command discard. Can't stress, fatties belong in the graveyard.

Another highlight creature is the Kederekt Leviathan, this sucker can cause alot of havoc. Full field wipe, can reset the board, and if you have to discard down, who cares? That's where you want stuff to be anyway.

Another game winner can be ANY fatty + Invisible Stalker. This creates a commander that will end anyone in the game in a matter of two or three turns. Unblockable + Hexproof = OP.

Another excellent combo for this deck would be ANY fatty + ANY flyer. This creates a pretty evasive (and BIG) commander that can end the game quickly if left unchecked. Torrent Elemental is my prime target for this kind of play, but if you're having trouble with enchantments/artifacts, Trygon Predator has your back. Mirko Vosk can also be good, especially if you have an opponent with many exploitable abilities.

And if you're wondering how you get these guys in the graveyard, you have a plethora of options. Buried Alive is the most straightforward, along with Jarad's Orders. If you're unfortunate enough to have some of your fatty's or combo pieces in your hand, just discard them with Geier Reach Sanitarium, CryptBreaker, Ancient Excavation, etc.

Also remember to experiment. With you making your opponent's mill/discard often or just form the course of the game, oftentimes there will be exciting... opportunities just waiting to be exploited in your opponent's graveyard. A star player in that sort of strategy can be Life's Finale, which can clear the board of any threats as well as you get to pick the most advantageous opponent and junk his best 3 creatures. Which now can be YOUR best three creatures.

Just read through and give advice. Thank you.
