Enrage - Whenever Needletooth Raptor is dealt damage, it deals 5 damage to target creature an opponent controls.
Needletooth Raptor Discussion

We want to make room for some cards to help you get more dinosaurs onto the battlefield faster, and to interact with your opponents threats and spells. If you increase your card draw, you'll still draw into enough creatures to overwhelm your opponent.
This tutors for a dinosaur and can trigger your engrage abilities. Sick combo with Polyraptor.
This is going to serve as persistent card draw for keeping creatures on board, which you aim to do anyway.
Both of these cards allow you to draw a card when a creature enters play.
These can have two uses: the first use is on attack, but it also can be cast to safeguard your board from effects like Wrath of God .
Like above, this protects your creatures from board wipes, but also works against exile and -x/-x effects like Toxic Deluge .
Losing an expensive creature feels bad. Bringing it back to the battlefield for less than its casting cost helps take the sting away.
Adding Board Wipes:
Adding a tutor or two:
Finale of Devastation is flavorful and rewards you for going big on mana.
Upgrading the mana base: I would start by replacing the "gain 1 life" lands with the "scry" lands in Core 2020, which can be had for about $2 each. From there I might look at getting a Krosan Verge and Growing Rites of Itlimoc Flip, and gradually upgrading over time.
What else to cut / Replace
I might nix Explore and Lay of the Land , and replace them with Domri, Chaos Bringer or Domri, Anarch of Bolas (which can provide mana and either card draw or removal), or Zacama, Primal Calamity , which you essentially cast for free (or gain mana from, if you're using Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun )), since it untaps your lands if you cast it from your hand.
I hope you find these suggestions helpful. I tried to stay on the lower end of prices on this stuff.

I used to have Needletooth Raptor in my deck, but I removed him for a reason that I can no longer remember. I was thinking about bringing him back into the deck already. Now that you mentioned it, I might try to put two in somewhere. I've been trying to make heavy changes to the deck as it performs well against longer battles, but aggro decks were just wrecking me. Shield of the Realm seems like the better choice as it is a permanent and could be played before I am even ready to do the combo. I will definitely consider that as an alternative. Only needing two colorless mana is another huge plus.

Something you may find interesting, I have one of my decks Gruul polyraptor -Infinite combo (splinter trios?) built around the idea too but mine contains an infinite combo of the same trigger, this is due to using Shield of the Realm on Forerunner of the Empire to stop him self damaging but allowing polyraptor to still take damage and proc infinitely, one other dino I find particularly useful is Needletooth Raptor as it allows you to kill creatures fast as well as provide both aggro and a blocker, hope you take these possibilities into consideration

Thanks Captain banana!
I was looking at swapping a handful of cards out soon. Thanks for the recommendations. I was on the fence about adding Needletooth Raptor when creating the deck to begin with and I think it, along with Pyrohemia , will find its way in the next iteration.

Some cards you could play in this deck:
- Pyrohemia : to tigger your enrage triggers for only one mana.
- Warstorm Surge : So your dinos deals damage when they enter the battlefield.
- Blasphemous Act : One of the best red board wipes. It is even better if you can trigger some nice enrage abilities.
- Swords to Plowshares , Chaos Warp : awesome removel.
- Regal Behemoth : awesome dinosaur. They changed the type from lizard to dinosaur.
- Needletooth Raptor : nice dino which you can use as removel.
Here are some cards I would cut:

the__odysseus ow yes that guy has been on my radar for quite a while, but what is worth replacing him? I mean of course Crested Herdcaller and Needletooth Raptor are lackluster edh creatures, but they actually function all right.
Do you have any experience with the Regal Behemoth? I'm afraid I'll just be overrun by weenies and lack the evasion to retrieve the monarch status.

I'd stay away from Sun-Crowned Hunters as their cost is a bit high to justify just 3 damage.
