this is a little different take on a marchesa build, still managing to be competetive.

this deck plays zombie cards only, which turn out to synergize very well with her ability. many zombie cards come with a inherent +1/+1 counter synergy: Carrion Feeder, Diregraf Colossus, Noosegraf Mob, Thraximundar, Unbreathing Horde, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. other flavorful additions with +1/+1 synergy include: Grave Betrayal, Feast on the Fallen, Metallic Mimic in combination with marchesa's ability, this makes for a very strong core package.

this is supported by a lot of tribal cards for card advantage: Vanquisher's Banner , Kindred Discovery , Herald's Horn , Distant Melody plus all the other zombie card advantage cards: Corpse Augur , Cryptbreaker , Custodi Lich , Graveborn Muse helping the deck to almost never run out of steam.

we try to gradually produce more zombies with Open the Graves , Army of the Damned , Diregraf Colossus , Dread Summons , Ghoulcaller Gisa, Grave Titan , Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Noosegraf Mob buffing them with Cemetery Reaper , Coat of Arms , Death Baron , Diregraf Captain , Lord of the Accursed , Lord of the Undead , Undead Warchief.

with counters on our zombies and marchesa out we don't care about wrath effects and can attack the lifeleader for a +1/+1 counter on each of our creatures.

in case our creatures end up dying we run a small recursion package. Gisa and Geralf, Patriarch's Bidding, Relentless Dead.

our main way of controling the boardstate include Call to the Grave, Dictate of Erebos, Fleshbag Marauder, Grave Pact utilizing our sac package Priest of Forgotten Gods, Carrion Feeder, Grimgrin, Corpse-Born.
