Maybeboard

Do you like combos that are very powerful, but get bored of infintes? Do you want to use the graveyard to your advantage in Mono Blue? You’ve come to the right place!

This deck works by creating copies of Kairi, the Swirling Sky and sacking them to the legend rule to generate card advantage and board control. Once you have the pieces you need, dump a bunch of copies on the field and use either Thoracle or Mirror Box to close out the win!

The deck is mostly built to abuse Kairi’s last ability, but their mass-bounce ability works in a pinch to remove all of your opponents’ pesky tokens and other problematic threats. This can also set you up to counter these cards when your opponent’s try to recast them.

Because Our Commander grabs any two instant or sorcery cards from our yard on death, each time we copy it we get some serious card selection. Essentially, every spell has super-flashback! Exile a chunk of your opponents’ libraries each turn with Tasha's Hideous Laughter, snag yourself a copy of every impactful instant or sorcery your opponents cast with Twincast or Narset's Reversal, or just keep your opponents locked from playing permanents with a Cyclonic Rift every turn cycle!

Quasiduplicate, Fated Infatuation, and Cackling Counterpart are the bread and butter of this deck. Using them you can cheaply copy Kairi, sac the token, and get the spell back plus one other. This can quickly fill your graveyard and grab you key spells for control or combo-ing.

Rite of Replication and Blade of Selves can create you a bunch of tokens at once, and are both repeatable! These will fill up your yard at breakneck pace for a quick Thoracle win! Orvar, the All-Form works similarly, giving you an extra copy for each copy spell!

Once your yard is packed, Argivian Restoration and Reconstruction will grab whatever artifacts you milled, and Codex Shredder and The Underworld Cookbook will be able to get you back your milled or killed creatures, which can then be returned with Argivian Restoration!!

Wandering Archaic   and Spawning Kraken are the contingency plans in the event that things go Horribly Awry and Thoracle or Mirror Box don’t pan out. Both synergize very well with copy effects, and hopefully enough of either on the field can clench you a victory in worst case scenarios. Runechanter's Pike is similar, giving Kairi a huge power boost for commander damage!

!¡!¡! DISCLAIMER !¡!¡!

I am running some pretty expensive cards such as Mana Crypt, Cyclonic Rift, Mox Opal, and Fierce Guardianship. Pretty much all of these are NOT necessary for the deck to function and I am only running them because I own them and can. Don’t let their inclusion in this list dissuade you from wanting to try this deck out. They are all easily replaceable with either basics or other spells!
