Making and sacrificing tokens to win through win con cards like: Purphoros, God of the Forge; Impact Tremors; Goblin Bombardment; Blood Artist; Zulaport Cutthroat; Mayhem Devil; Vicious Shadows; Craterhoof Behemoth; Finale of Devastation and Beastmaster Ascension.

Doubling Season; Parallel Lives; Panharmonicon; Food Chain; Grave Pact; Dictate of Erebos; Ashnod's Altar; Phyrexian Altar and Skullclamp are some of the other important cards. The Altar's, along with Black Market; Growing Rites of Itlimoc, Cryptolith Rite and Pitiless Plunderer are also helpful in getting big mana.

I usually don't put many tutors in my decks, since our playgroup is quite casual, but there is a few in this deck. A couple of creature-based ones, like Rune-Scarred Demon and Sidisi, Undead Vizier, which can be recurred with Whip of Erebos, but also Demonic Tutor. My favourite, Defense of the Heart, is more vulnerable to disruption, but will allow you to tutor a win directly onto the battlefield.

Started with the pre-con and have upgraded and changed the deck many times over the years. Might just let it stay the way it is now, unless it needs something.
