Emry sits in her lake playing with broken toys. Watch out as her trinkets and baubles quickly become lethal!

These are cards that may also be combo pieces, but are used to turn a combo loop into lethal.

card:urza, lord high artifacer; doesn't end game on his own, but with infinite mana allows you to cast your whole deck

Blasting Station; not only a sac outlet to allow combos, also deals direct damage. Nice.

Walking Ballista; cost artifact that dies on entry is a nice toy, but it ALSO turns infinite mana into infinite damage!

Aetherflux Reservoir; turns infinite casting loops into infinite life and into infinite damage to players. Solid.

Staff of Domination; turns infinite mana into infinite draw, which in turn should be game, we have enough fast mana to squeeze a win out of even a useless boardstate, also (in worst-case scenario) can be used to combo out.

Thassa's Oracle; many of the combos in this deck involve infinite draw, this is a quick and easy way to turn that into a victory

Here we have the basic 2 and 3 card combos that are the bread and butter of the deck.

Sensei's Divining Top + Mystic Forge/card:reality chip + Helm of Awakening/Etherium Sculptor/Semblance Anvil = use the top to draw your deck

Mesmeric Orb + Basalt Monolith/(Grim Monolith + Power Artifact) = mill your entire deck, if Power Artifact is in the mix, this also makes infinite .

Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + anything that generates 2 or more mana = infinite untap all non-land permanents you control. While not exactly dangerous on its own, this very easily enables infinite mana, and allows you to infinitely untap your commander, to cast more things from the grave.

These combos involve our commander in some way, making them inherently more complicated.

Emry, Lurker of the Loch + Lion's Eye Diamond + Pemmin's Aura

Emry, Lurker of the Loch + Lion's Eye Diamond + Staff of Domination + Power Artifact = infinite , cast triggers, draw and life.

Emry, Lurker of the Loch + Mirran Spy/Chakram Retriever + Lion's Eye Diamond = infinite mana, this is the simplest version of this combo.

Emry, Lurker of the Loch + Mirran Spy/Chakram Retriever + Helm of Awakening/Etherium Sculptor/Semblance Anvil + Chromatic Sphere/Conjurer's Bauble/Chromatic Star = infinite draw. adding Mirrodin Besieged or Sai, Master Thopterist introduces infinite creatures as well.

If the last grouping wasn't complicated enough, now lets introduce versions that require a sac outlet!

For convenience, here's the outlets and what they will result in, most of the combos can multiple options.

The Below combos also include Emry, Lurker of the Loch, and Mirran Spy or Chakram Retriever

Myr Moonvessel + a sac outlet = infinite triggers of that outlet. (can also be done with intruder alarm instead of Mirran Spy or Chakram Retriever)

Helm of Awakening/card:etherium scuptor/Semblance Anvil + Chromatic Sphere/Conjurer's Bauble/Chromatic Star + a sac outlet = infinite triggers of that outlet.

The below combo is a little more touchy, requiring a specific sac outlet, but does not require Mirran Spy or Chakram Retriever (though adding either of those will make it work even better!

Corridor Monitor + Phyrexian Altar = on its own this loop does not accomplish anything, though with one of the above untap abilities, this nets an untapped artifact or creature, allowing you to get more mana, or another artifact off Emry, should you choose to untap her twice instead. Of course with Aetherflux Reservoir this is infinite life and damage even if you don't have another untap trigger. Or with Sai, Master Thopterist, Genesis Chamber, or Mirrodin Besieged this is infinite creatures.

The infamous KCI combo... Ehh, this is a weird one that needs its own panel. First and foremost, Krark-Clan Ironworks + Scrap Trawler + Myr Retriever + any 0 or 1 cost artifact, or cost reducer = infinite colorless mana. (With a cost reducer, this also works with Ashnod's Altar instead of only KCI.) if the chosen 0-cost artifact is Chromatic Star, Conjurer's Bauble, or Chromatic Sphere this instantly nets you card draw as well.

How it works: With KCI on the field, and both Scrap Trawler and Myr Retriever, sacrifice both gaining , this will put 3 abilities on the stack

    • scrap trawler seeing myr retriever die, return a 1 or lower cost artifact from grave to hand
    • myr retriever's death ability, return another artifact from grave to hand
    • scrap trawler seeing itself die, return a 2 or lower cost artifact from grave to hand.

Use myr retriever's own death ability to return scrap trawler, use scrap trawler's ability for myr retriever's death to return any 0 or 1 cost artifact, lastly use scrap trawler's own death triger (return a 2 or less cost) to return myr retriever.

What's changed? We now have Scrap Trawler, Myr Retriever and a 0 or 1 cost artifact in hand, as well as with a mana cost reducer, then you can simply cast everything again without worrying, without you may have to be a little more careful with your order of operations. A 0-cost means you can cast it, sac it to KCI and have , to cast both trawler and retriever, netting and repeat.

I'm looking to pick up the following cards, but honestly it'll probably be a while before I can grab these without my wallet screaming at me.

I have mixed feelings about, but will likely eventually put in the following cards as well:
