A lovely guy in my playgroup gave me Groundchuck & Dirtbag yesterday, and I slotted him into the 99 immediately! I switched him out with Sakiko, Mother of Summer. I had taken out my banned cards last time I played the deck but decided I didn't want Tyrant of Discord in the deck anymore since its effect is so annoying to execute in paper. So I put Astral Titan back in!

This deck needs more land. I don't know how great Eden is overall, but I had it on hand and it plays a similar role to The Bath Song. As I've said before, I expect a lot more work on this front someday when I really want to sit down with this deck.
Thought Dissector is amusing, but never something I'm really happy to draw. Kappa Cannoneer looks strong since this deck should have at least one artifact entering every turn, so it seemed worth a try.

- Ferocious was redundant with Heroic triggers and now there's the copy spell option too
Draw
- Otherworld Atlas -> Sram, Senior Edificer
- Sram is lower CMC and doesn't help opponents
- Heliod's Pilgrim -> Three Dreams
- Shifting from a single tutor on a body to massive card advantage for key auras
- Planar Cleansing -> Kor Spiritdancer
- Cleansing the board usually wipes some of our own things making it harder to recover. Kor Spiritdancer accelerates our own draw instead of slowing everyone down
Extra Combat
- Combat Celebrant -> Full Throttle
- Full Throttle works right away and when played at the right time could end the game

===accordion ===panel: Changelog 14-03-2026 I've reoriented and am refocused on the gameplan.
- Get to 4 mana (or preferably 8)
- Get Enablers (sturdy creatures with attack benefits) and Payoffs out (Combat Calligrapher, Duelist's Heritage, etc
- Start attacking opponents slowly, convincing them to attack eachother too
Considering my goal is to convince my opponents to attack eachother, I think this plan works better than going for cheaper Enablers and going the more aggressive route. Will have to see if it works out, since I've had the problem with this deck before that it couldn't reliably use its own benefits.

I finally had time to go through this deck and update it with the changes I have made. I got rid of some of the jankier Gods and am just focusing more on the Indestructible Gods and Devotion, Using Colored Enchantments to up Devotion. I removed most of the counterspells, because I Hate counterspells on a personal level, and despised myself for having them in the deck in the first place. It's seems more cohesive now, and has good God-Like Verbage on the utility cards. I've leaned into the experience counters a bit more with some additions from The Last Airbender, added some nice Proliferate cards to up our counters, and squeezed in some Unblockable action to get those commander damages thru! Let me know if you guys see anything I am missing. I'm always looking to improve the flavor and cohesiveness of the deck! Cheers!
