This version of Sisay-EDH is focussed on hateful and specific legends that work against certain tactics while slowly pushing towards a near unbreakable board state.

This is my little baby. I love working on this deck and I have played it for more than one year now. Let me walk you through.

One of the most important packages of all Sisay-Decks is the Legend-Package. The deck now features:

• 8 Legendary Land
• 2 Legendary Artifacts
• 26 Legendary Creatures

Noteworthy Inclusions:

Lands:

Besides the obvious cards like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx the deck features at least one land in each colour of Sisay that comes into play untapped in order to hit heavy colour requirements on time. Often you have to tutor for land 5 and 6 with Sisay. Here the colour might help.

Artifacts:

Heroes' Podium is the ultimate finisher to the big board states. You rarely use the second ability unless you control Seedborn Muse.

Creatures:

Here is the list of rather specific counter cards to certain strategies:

• Thalia, Heretic Cathar -> Combo
• Myojin of Cleansing Fire -> Creature Decks
• Sigarda, Heron's Grace -> Some variants of Combo, Burn, Anything that shoots at players
• Sigarda, Host of Herons -> Grave Pact Effects
• Gaddock Teeg -> Control, Combo
• Eight-and-a-Half-Tails -> Spot Removal, Anything that relies on colour
• Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite -> Token, Sidisi, Brood Tyrant
• Avacyn, Angel of Hope -> Wrath effects
• Glissa Sunseeker -> Artifacts
• Dragonlord Dromoka -> Interactive Decks
• Gisela, the Broken Blade + Bruna, the Fading Light -> Cyclonic Rift, a lot of other things
• Trostani, Selesnya's Voice -> The second ability is entirely irrelevant. The first part counters aggressive or damage based strategies.
• Emrakul, the Promised End -> Perfect to really mess up one specific player. But the real deal with Emrakul is when you take over the turn of a combo player and then let them combokill themselves. Or take over a person with a wide boarstate and let them wrath or run into bigger creatures. Emrakul just works like a multi-target removal spell. However it is important to note that you should only cast it when you know exactly just what you want to do with it otherwise it is really not a pleasant time for everyone else if it takes you 10 minutes to figure out what to do with your stolen turn.

Ramp:

All of the ramp except for Sol Ring is land based like Rampant Growth. These will usually get Plains to support Emeria, The Sky Ruin .

Card Selection:

• Sensei's Divining Top is incredible alongside Sisay.
• Chord of Calling and Planar Bridge essentially support Sisay and offer different ways of accessing the high impact creatures.

That Which Was Taken + Myojin of Cleansing Fire -> Wrath all time

"The unbreakable board state"

This deck can achieve a near unbreakable board state with only few outs that can get you. Try to get there once you have a slight edge. For that board state you need:

• Sigarda, Host of Herons -> No Sacrifice abilities
• Brisela, Voice of Nightmares + Gaddock Teeg -> no non-creature spells
• Avacyn, Angel of Hope -> No Wraths
• Eight-and-a-Half-Tails -> No Spot RemovalThis can be made even stronger with adding protection for -x/-x-effects. Heroes' Podium locks that up.
