The plan is to cast Kozilek on turn 4 or 5. Hopefully by then there would only be 1 or 2 cards in hand. This can be achieved by casting more small artifact spells like Chromatic Star and Chromatic Sphere at the beginning of the game. They can later be exchanged for cards when needed. It's just like the concept of MONEY SAVING!

With the synergy between Kozilek, the Great Distortion and cards like Erratic Portal and Umbilicus, you can almost be able to fill your hand every turn.

COMBO:

• Infinite mana: Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth or Metalworker + Staff of Domination + at least 3 artifacts in hand

• Infinite draw: Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth + Sensei's Divining Top or Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth + Staff of Domination or Metalworker + Staff of Domination + at least 3 artifacts in hand
