When building Kraj, I have always flip-flopped between different counters based commanders; most of this is because of all the similar effects across the abilities and what the composition of most simic counters type decks generally look like. I settled on Kraj because it neatly ties into a combo finish if need be, but can also just serve as a counter engine in more fair and fun games. Leaned more into protecting my stuff rather than a recursion package because I wanted to play towards unique games and not hedge on landing the same threats that need to be in play to win. With all my years playing the deck I feel I have settled on a great mid tier list with appropriate maybeboard cards to change the playstyle when needed.

Cards are sorted in the primary role they function in. [My mission is to eventually have the full prismatic with each archetype in the format represented at least once.] The MaybeBoard consists of cards that I swap in occasionally to change the deck's playstyle and experiment.
