Pir & Toothy off-brand counters/Simic artifacts. I want to avoid leaning too hard into +1/+1 counters - instead this deck focuses on charge counter artifacts, plus a smattering of level-up creatures.

This deck relies on untapping more often than its opponents in order to accumulate counters quickly. This is done with numerous untap/extra turn effects, like Seedborn Muse, Unwinding Clock, Magistrate's Scepter, and Lighthouse Chronologist. Flicker and bounce effects protect the board and allow for draws off of Toothy, Imaginary Friend.

Win conditions include Darksteel Reactor, Simic Ascendancy, or Helix Pinnacle; beatdown with Toothy, Imaginary Friend and Titan Forge; and Walking Ballista. It's also possible to deck everyone with a big Otherworld Atlas supported by Midnight Clock.
