The goal of this deck is hard to describe, it tries to be many things. It can be best summarized as a deck I'd like to play, screw your opinions on any opposing note.

Obviously the addition of green will be the first thing to question. "I'll notice you don't actually play any green spells." One might say, and they'd be right. There are seldom any green cards that I've seen that I thought were worthy of a slot. "Why then," they might continue "Would such a color be included?" I can only shrug at this, I enjoy the feeling of being inclusive towards any cards that would appeal to the theme. "What's the theme again?" Five-color eggs, try to keep up.

You see, Mossfire Egg and Sungrass Egg have little to do in most eggs decks, leaving a sense of wanting for balance among the remaining colors. "Well that's fine enough, but how far does this go?" Glad you asked! Are you a fan of poetry? You'll notice that the flavor for all of the eggs: Darkwater Egg , Mossfire Egg , Shadowblood Egg , Skycloud Egg , and Sungrass Egg all have very poetic flavor texts which are fun to read aloud as they are set onto the battlefield. You'll note also; that they have the same artist! David Martin nailed this art just as he nailed the art on our other darling set of five: the Eye of Ramos , Heart of Ramos , Horn of Ramos , Skull of Ramos , the Tooth of Ramos . Five of a kind, each seeming to echo the aforementioned eggs in their effect, artistic style and in their flavor. A perfect pairing to be sure. This leads us to our Commander, Ramos, Dragon Engine . A five-color artifact commander for a five-color artifact deck. Affiliated, not only with their own body parts, but with their own methods of reproduction... because obviously the eggs are dragon eggs, this should be very clear.

Of course, a Ramos Eggs deck would not be complete without an honorable mention of Door to Nothingness , the five color egg that ties the commanders ability to another primary aspect of the deck: Precision control. This is where we get into the meat of our Main board. Here we have Door to Nothingness , Grinding Station , Grinning Totem , Jester's Cap , Jester's Mask , Lantern of Insight , Memory Jar , Mindslaver , Nihil Spellbomb , and Oblivion Stone . On there own these are nothing special, but when looped infinitely and in conjunction with one another, we can see some very impressive results!

For instance: Looping a Grinning totem infinitely with infinite mana will play out your opponents deck, and that's pretty fun. Remove threats by looping an O-stone, coming out untapped each time, and applying fate counters until satisfied. Mindslaver lock, just to take extra turns, drawing and passing from opponent to opponent, all while Lantern of Insight is spamming over and over to make sure they draw exactly what you want. There is much territory to be explored here, and no two games run the same if your imagination is willing.

Looping the deck: Two modes of looping currently stand. Codex Shredder + Second Sunrise Or any other such recurring effect will keep your cracked eggs on the board to be abused forever. should you recur 6WW+ in mana-producing artifacts you will most likely be set for mana, as most of our deck relies on colorless costs anyways.

The other loop, stolen from the cEDH deck Thrymception Consists of Mystic Forge + Helm of Awakening (or any other such effect} + Sensei's Divining Top . Top goes on top of your deck to draw a card, helm of awakening and mystic forge allow you to play the top off your deck for free. Step 1: Draw your deck. This should give you access to Elixir of Immortality + (hopefully) Dark Ritual + Lotus Petal . Step 2: Cast Elixir for free, crack Petal for B to cast Dark Rit, Float BBB, crack Elixir, float B, grabbing Petal, Dark Rit and Elixir off the top + whatever was in your graveyard with the Sensei draw combo, cast Elixir and Petal for free, and Dark Rit with your floating B. You now hold your full deck, and you have infinite life and mana.

The rest of the deck is about giving structure to the principles described herein. I welcome suggestions if you'd give them. If your suggestion is something to do with purging my garbage land base, I'll get to it, maybe.
