@ McToters Thank you for checking out my list and taking the time to comment! Most of the time the goal of my list is to find a loop utilizing Teshar that goes infinite as soon as possible. Example (1) Teshar + Myr Retriever + Ashnod's Altar + Memnite. Example (2) Teshar + Lion's Eye Diamond + Salvage Scout. These are only a few examples of many as the deck gets its consistency by running numerous redundant effects.

The only time this is not the plan is when a silver bullet like Grafdigger's Cage, Rule of Law, or Null Rod is in play. In these cases the goal is to dig for removal for the silver bullet.

I don't often sac my entire board. But I have sometimes sacrificed most of the artifacts I control in response to another player casting Dockside Extortionist.

Roar of Reclamation: Not only is it's CMC too high but in cEDH I would be worried about returning opponents silver bullets or cards like Lotus Petal, Jeweled Lotus or Lion's Eye Diamond.

I do think Second Sunrise is a fantastic card in a casual Teshar list where the goal isn't to combo out as soon as possible but to create value engine and win in the long run.

LeonSpires wonderful brew! Not sure how often you find yourself sacrificing the whole board in response to something but Thoughts on Second Sunrise?

Roar of Reclamation also seems good as a finisher, but expensive CMC so i get why it wouldn't be in a competitive build.

I run the former in my Mageta deck and the latter in my more artifact heavy boros deck. With that said, i can see why you may not run either and you seem to have more knowledge on Teshar than I do.

Crush Contraband is arguably as good as Return to Dust , and a good way to shave $1.75 from the list. Return of the Wildspeaker is better than Soul's Majesty , since it doesn't target, avoiding blowouts by instant-speed removal. Especially in this deck, where you have 3 whole humans, making the second mode a win-con. It will also save you roughly another $1.75. You're not doing anything unfair with Open the Vaults that necessitates turboing it out, and you're only running 2 enchantments. Save the $2.75 and pay the extra mana to avoid giving people their enchantments back with Roar of Reclamation , instead. There's no special reason to run Nature's Lore in a deck without nonbasic forests, so swapping in Farseek will save another $2.75, and the deck is more white, anyway, so being able to fix for white while stuck on 2 green sources seems like an upgrade.

Those are just strict budget upgrades. I'd also check out the budget Nazahn page at EDHREC. Hope that helps!

Glad to have been of some sort of help! I can assure you, Goblin Welder , Feldon of the Third Path and Daretti, Scrap Savant are beyond awesome! Your graveyard becomes even more a toolbox, to abuse especially with ETBs.

Speaking of ETBs, Combustible Gearhulk is really solid: card draw in red and a 6/6 first strike for 6. Nice.

Skullclamp is an all star, especially if you have a lot of things that produce thopters or myrs, (even the ones from Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer go well with it).

Mass recursion like Scrap Mastery is fun, that's why I run it along Open the Vaults and Roar of Reclamation ... But even more fun if it also makes your opponents sacrifice their artifacts to put nothing on the field. Not to mention,it also gets rid of things like Darksteel Colossus or Colossus of Akros .

I'd also point out Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain , and Vedalken Archmage for endless value.

Next things to buy for me, when I'll have money to spare, will be Glimmervoid , Academy Ruins and those foil Goblin Welder and Sharuum the Hegemon !

3 Lotus Bloom / 2 Lotus Bloom + Darksteel Citadel with a Sac outlet, but I do get your point. Although I wouldn't be gaining any mana advantage, Roar of Reclamation gives me a fair amount of cards to mill and draw to find more Lotus Bloom s and / or Darksteel Citadel s. Btw turn 4 isn't an unreasonable time to Combo off, especially since its the turn that my potential Lotus Bloom would come off of suspend.

If I have Grinding Station and am attempting to mill my library, I'd usually need 2-3 Recursion effects to do so. And since Faith's Reward and Open the Vaults are different in some ways, I prefer to go with the 8 versions of the same thing rather than a 4/4 split, with one being a cheaper but more restrictive Recursion.

Tbh this is making me want to create Primer for this deck. We'll see if I can be bothered lol

I see your point, buy you're going to need 3 Lotus Bloom s to chain into Roar of Reclamation , you only need 2 to cast Faith's Reward , and since you're probably not winning on turn 4 with only casting one recursion effect, wouldn't it be best to choose the card that allows to to chain the best?

Stoneforge Mystic, Stonehewer Giant to tutor and cheat out equipment (budget version: Open the Armory) and cards like Roar of Reclamation (Lower-mana versions: Second Sunrise, Faith's Reward, Open the Vaults) could be really nice to recover from a Vandalblast. Planar Birth might be a worthwhile include because you're only running basics

I dont have any experience with cEDH, so keep that in mind when you read my suggestions. For what I have heard you need focus and combos to win in cEDH. I cant really see that in your deck. What is laboratory maniac or Aetherflux reservoir do in your deck? Is Efficient construction too slow (and where is the synergy)? Or rather what are your plan for the deck? What win con(s) do you have?

And at what turn could you see yourself winning the game?

What happens if somebody takes out your commander? Do you have enough draw?

For extra draw/cycling I would recommend Scroll Rack and Smuggler's Copter

For recursion you could go with Roar of Reclamation, Open the Vaults or Trading Post. The last card you could probably make a combo with Efficient Construction
