MrSilk ive never given a non budget version much thought. without adding another color, like green, and getting fetches and shocks. i would say a couple copies of Dark Ritual, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Crypt Ghast, Magus of the Coffers, Culling the Weak, Skull of Ramos, Bubbling Muck, and maybe some mana rocks.

You really need to squeeze a Black producing rock or two in here to maximize your Paradox Engine combo ability. Literally just a Gilded Lotus could do wonders here. Lotus, two generic mana production (Sol Ring, Thran Dynamo, etc.) and Erratic Portal, with engine make infinite Gonti casts. Also things like Charcoal Diamond, Leaden Myr, Skull of Ramos, Mox Opal, Coalition Relic, etc. In my 3 or 4 playtests, I got a lot of mana rock production, but had to leave mana sitting on the floor because it was all generic, and my hand required black mana. I also never saw a land doubler, so that may have just been on me, but still.
Also +1 just for Gonti/Blade of Selves interaction. Sweet.

not totally sure what you feel like doing with your deck so I can't make too many suggestions about the deck other than probably cutting some lands for other cards and adding in more mana ramp since you have pretty much none, mana ramp is a bit hard in a deck that doesn't use green but there are some options
i think you could replace Sigil of the Empty Throne with Angelic Accord since your deck is to gain life, it sort of utilizes it. You could also use an Archangel of Thune to weaponize lifegain, or use the Sanguine Bond +Exquisite Blood combo it might not be friendly but it isn't that bad
you could add in tutors:Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Diabolic Tutor, Beseech the Queen is a decent card for 3 mana mid game Sorin, Grim Nemesis is fairly good here i'd think but better if it hits a higher cost card, i dont think he'd live long enough to pump enough value out though.

Any color ones: Manalith, Commander's Sphere, Darksteel Ingot, Doubling Cube(doubles all the Mana you have for 2), Cryptolith Fragment Flip(doesnt really flip though), Corrupted Grafstone, Gilded Lotus, Fellwar Stone

Ok so I've been thinking a bit more about this deck, and I thought of a couple things. Doomsday could be incredibly beneficial to you. It can set up the exact cards you need at any given point, get your Barren Glory out of the grave and back into your now-5-card deck, and can even help add to the flavor by potentially leaving you without a library as well!
Pull from Eternity can help get you out of situations where your Glory might get exiled, and it can also work well in conjuction with Karn Liberated, allowing you to exile other permanent cards if necessary in order to later get them out of exile to restart. In the same sense, you can run Riftsweeper. I know it isn't in Mardu colors, but you have ways to produce Green in your deck and could probably fit in a couple fetchable green duals easily.
I think running either Obzedat's Aid or Profound Journey to put the Glory back into play directly from the grave (among other things) could be very helpful. I imagine once people know what you are trying to do, they will try to stop it from happening. These two could be your insurance policy in the case of eventual enchantment removal.
Lastly, I think the Cluestones in here are very weak. For the purpose of this deck, I think you could easily replace the three of them with the Ramosian mana rocks, Skull of Ramos, Tooth of Ramos, and Heart of Ramos. All three of them work extremely well with Claws of Gix, allowing you to sacrifice themselves (for free!) and the claws when you are ready to go off, and they can produce more mana in a single turn than the Cluestones if need be.
I've been thinking about this deck more than any of my own since yesterday haha, and I want to help make this deck as competitive as possible!

Your average converted mana cost is very high. I'd say go 38 lands to make sure you hit those drops. Skull of Ramos and Darksteel Ingot aren't very good. Mana Vault and a low-costing rock like Coldsteel Heart (if you need the colored mana) or Everflowing Chalice/Thought Vessel (if you want untapped colorless mana). There's a bunch of good options, but you'll generally want cheap rocks.

Hi there! Fellow Shirei player here (Let 'em Die [Primer: Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker]).
Use Smothering Abomination, Harvester of Souls, and/or Grim Haruspex instead of Geth's Grimoire and Greed. Bone Shredder could replace Bone Splinters or Murder. Skirsdag High Priest and Marsh Flitter are little guys who make tokens for you. Spawning Pit makes little guys too, and as a cheap and free-to-use sac outlet, it can replace Corpse Harvester or Blasting Station. And maybe Expedition Map instead of Skull of Ramos.
You need more creatures in for these to really work, but with less then 20 I'd say you need more little creatures anyways for Shirei to really shine.

Three sources of acceleration seems kinda low, especially with 37 lands and an average cmc of 4.98. My three most used decks break down to
Xenagos, God of Revels: 16 Accelerators, 35 Lands, 3.64 Avg. CMC
Animar, Soul of Elements: 11 Accelerators, 36 Lands, 5.40 Avg. CMC
Oloro, Ageless Ascetic: 11 Accelerators, 37 Lands, 3.50 Avg. CMC
Granted two of those decks are green, so they have access to better acceleration, but you should be able to get the numbers if not the quality in Rakdos. My animar deck is closest in intent to a Rakdos deck so you may want to try for the 11/36 numbers.

These of course vary in power, but I try to compile lists of possibilities and let people see if they like any of them. I personally think any of them over 3 mana, with the possible exception of Gilded Lotus, are unplayable, but draw your own conclusions.
