Skimming through the list of new commanders from AFR, Iymrith caught my eye. I saw it and immediately thought that it was just, straight up, a worse Ojutai. Missing a color, worse protection, and draws a card instead of letting you select one from three! Goodness, what a horrible downgrade!.. Until I had my Stroke of Genius. While under most circumstances, this card is a worse Ojutai, I realized that if we can manage to drop our cards in hand down to zero, it's draw effect becomes three times better than Ojutai! So I went to work finding all the fun discard outlets mono-blue had to offer, slapped in some voltron and voila, here's the list. Key strengths of the deck are: 1) haha funny; 2) Can comfortably mulligan down to as a few as three cards; 3) No need to stress about drawing gas!

Currently doing some budget considerations for the deck. One card that will definitely need to move to the dream list is LED. $600 price tag is way too high for what boils down to quite a meme-y deck. Copy Artifact can reasonably be swapped out for Sculpting Steel or Phyrexian Metamorph. I'll probably end up working on budget substitutions later this month.
