This is about as huggy as I can reasonably make a competent mono-black deck.
Yeah, this isn't legal for many reasons, but it's a fun political deck that doesn't abuse silver-bordered mechanics in the same incredibly unfun way that, say, X can.
The main deck is hard-in on politics, a decent blend of group hug and slug, and cards that force my opponents to make difficult choices.
The 'maybe' section is my wish board, filled with many off-colour cards that can hopefully help out whatever other decks happen to be at the table with me. Nightmare Moon
is a bigger threat than Princess Luna even when it's not nighttime, so I plan to make deals with people about which cards I'll fetch for them if they activate that ability at the specific times that benefit us.
I'll also take a moment to point to List of cards with a moon in their art., in case you care about that sort of thing.
I don't see this deck necessarily winning most games it's involved in, but I do see it being very involved. That seems like a fun time for me.
