I wanted to splash other colors for the various nonwhite angel-themed cards. The choices of 5-color generals are unfortunately limited and unthematic. I'm not the first to suggest accepting the wonderfully gold Maelstrom Archangel as a general.

This is one of my favorite decks thematically. There isn't anything that refers to angels tribally, but it all feels nice together.

The mana curve isn't super, and it may lack certain tools, but this deck is more about thematic fun.

Some clerics, an oracle, and bits of paradise and utopia fit in with the angels, right?
