COMBOS

Ancestral Statue + Animar, Soul of Elements - infinite ETB and Animar counters

Palinchron + Animar, Soul of Elements - infinite ETB, mana and Animar counters (this method only works if you have 4 blue source lands)

Palinchron + Deadeye Navigator - infinite ETB, mana and Animar counters

Peregrine Drake + Deadeye Navigator - infinite ETB, mana and Animar counters

Peregrine Drake OR Palinchron OR Cloud of Faeries + Cloudstone Curio - infinite ETB, mana and Animar counters

Cloudstone Curio + 2 Creatures (preferably 2 morphs) + Solemn Simulacrum - Grab every basic land from the deck

You can achieve the same thing with any creature that grabs a land + Cloudstone Curio + any land untaping creature

Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts OR Deceiver Exarch OR Pestermite - make infinite creatures with haste

Avenger of Zendikar + Purphoros, God of the Forge - A lot of the time i have won by playing avenger when i have 8 - 10 lands in play with Purphoros on board.

All of these combos above kill with Purphoros, God of the Forge

Animar, Soul of Elements with infinite counters + Walking Ballista wins the game

Alternatively you can swing with a big AF Hydroid Krasis or Endless One

Path to Victory

Generally when you play the deck you are going to want to play Animar turn 3 or 4, but this is dependent on how fast you can get him out of bolt or sack range. Nothing feels worse then a turn 3 Animar pass and then getting Fleshbag Marauder on your opponents turn.

Generally Green Sun's grabs Somberwald Sage or Bloom Tender before Animar comes out so you have extra gass the turn he comes out. You are shooting to win the 1st or second turn he comes out.

Neoform and Eldritch Evolution almost always grab Ancestral Statue (bouncing him back to hand on the ETB trigger) or Purphoros, God of the Forge

At the inevitable moment when Animar costs 7 or 9 or someone is playing counter hate. the deck has some other option to still get the W

NON Animar Wincons

Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Pestermite OR Deceiver Exarch swing face with endless creatures/ infinite ETB

Dead-eye Navigator + Palinchro OR perigrine drake OR Pestermite OR Deceiver Exarch Make infinite mana/ETB

Avenger of Zendikar + Purpharos, God of the Forge I have won with this combo way more then i would have thought. Especially when i have a bounce creature to bounce Avenger back to hand.

This has been a work in progress for the last year and a half and my first attempt at a competitive EDH deck. Any contructive feedback is very much appreciated! Don't forget to smash that MF like button!
