My wife and I love cats. Sadly, when C17 was released there weren't enough cats that didn't care about equipment (which neither of us are fond of,) so the deck was taken apart fairly quickly and ignored until the release of Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths. There were a few more cats to work with at that point, so I rebuilt the deck. M21 helped as well. I don't feel like adding for Rin and Seri, Inseparable , though. Plus (although my wife likes them) I'm not a dog fan.

Percent different than stock pre-con (ignoring the companion): About 62%. It's hard to measure on this one because so many of the cards in here that were in the stock pre-con aren't the C17 printing. I think it's currently 79% if you look at it that way, 66% if you ignore the different basics.

I would like to remove the extra THB and IKO basics and replace them with some from THS, AKH, C17, and maybe M21.

Maybe Cards:

Beneath the Sands - Being able to cycle this away if you don't need ramp is really useful. I couldn't find a spot for it, though.

Cultivate - It's a classic ramp spell, but it's in the same situation as Beneath the Sands.

Harrow - I took this one out when I removed Riftstone Portal because I felt like I was always holding it back for that combo.

Healer of the Pride - A Cat soul sister? Could be good. Not sure how to fit it in, though. Also, I don't have one.

Lost Leonin - I already have infect as a wincon with Grafted Exoskeleton . This would add another way to do it. I don't own one, though.

Qasali Ambusher - I pulled him out for something, can't remember what.

Riftstone Portal - Has a neat interaction with Harrow that I want to use somewhere, but I don't think it belongs here.

Search for Tomorrow - Classic ramp that I couldn't find a spot for.

Felidar Retreat - Not sure how to work this in and I don't own it yet, but it makes cats and pumps stuff.

Planned Upgrades:

None at the moment, but probably more and better kitties.

Ondu Inversion   could be good.
