For the longest time I've had a paper Korvold Brawl deck sitting at home gathering dust, since not many people at my local game store play Brawl. So, I thought I'd undergo a thought experiment in EDH deck building. This is what I'm calling a pEDH deck, or Pioneer EDH. The deck is made up of only cards legal in Pioneer, and follows the Pioneer ban list. I think this might be a good entry way into the format for new players to be on a fairly even playing field in terms of access to cards, power level, and still has the same feel of traditional Commander. This was made with cards I had on hand, and will most likely be making edits as the pandemic eases and I can return to my local game store. What do you guys think of this concept though, would YOU be willing to make a pEDH deck??
