I don't even want to play Winter Orb ... alas.

But he do be looking fine though and he deserves it, as a treat.

I focused on the creature side of the God although the artifact side is surely safer to deploy. From here this deck can go either way. Either add more of the durdly winter themed cards such as Rimewind Taskmage , Rimewind Cryomancer and Heidar, Rimewind Master (and whatever will come out of Kaldheim) or make it more of a terribly obnoxious and oppressive Winter Orb deck. As always it depends on your group.

Right now what it does well is dropping Jorn, God of Winter   on turn two or three right into mid-range threats the same turn (with fast boots) or the following turn. If there is an opponent open to savely attack on turn 3-4 it can be quite impressive, playing a 4-5 drop pre and then again post combat or leaving mana open for instant speed shenanigans. Alternatively it's also good at sitting on a lot of mana doing nothing. :^)

To ensure a happy attacking I put in a lot of instant speed removal.. play Pongify and Beast Within after they declared blocks ;)

Sunstone (+ Crucible of Worlds ) is in there, because I think it's cute. It doesn't really protect you from three consecutive attacks. But I ended up with a land/top of library theme as a result. One fun thing to do with the Curcible or Ramunap Excavator is using Mouth of Ronom twice a turn.

I'm just personally very fond of stuff like Tamiyo, Collector of Tales + Marit Lage's Slumber / Scrying Sheets / Sylvan Library , so that's why it's in there.
