This a deck i built for a friend thats never plays anything other than gruul and said they wanted a samut edh deck. So i decided to make it kinda voltrony to take advantage of Samut already having double strike. The other themes with this deck is life gain, tokens, and +1/+1 counters. Now it sounds like this deck is doing too much but the tokens help the life gain, life gain triggers the +1/+1 counters, and the counters can be put on samut to be voltrony.

The two main combo's in this deck are the classic Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker/Splinter Twin + Zealous Conscripts for infinite hasty creatures. The second is infinite life/+1/+1 counters is Spike Feeder + Archangel of Thune. Infinite life is not nearly as powerful in edh as it is in standard/modern but the way you win with this one is have more creatures then your opponents and get 1 creature through for lethal.

The rest of this deck is filled with greens attempts at card draw, ramp, and anything that helps voltron, tokens, life gain, or +1/+1 but is good as a standalone card. A good example of this is Scavenging Ooze. Its a great card on its own but is a life gain trigger and gives itself a +1/+1 counter.
