Commander: foil Saskia the Unyielding

This is a thematic flavor commander deck based on the game Overwatch.

It is basically a BRGW legendary themed deck, led by Saskia The Unyielding, that wins by attacking with creatures.

The (currently) 22 Overwatch heroes are represented by legendary creatures. A lot of work went into finding the best creature to fit the flavor and abilities of the heroes. But I also kept in mind the power of the cards and tried to avoid weak ones. The power level of this deck is low so it is only playable against other thematic and janky decks.

Overwatch commander Jack Morrison is represented by Saskia the Unyielding, who is a Human Soldier with flavorful abilities.

Ana - Reki, History of Kamigawa - not a ton of flavor here other then the fact they both provide support and are, uhm, old. Still, Reki is the best card advantage engine in the deck,

Bastion - Kaervek the Merciless - a transform or a flip card would be perfect for Bastion, but Kaervek does a ton of damage, just like Bastion, in EDH games,

D.Va - Deathpact Angel - the only non-legendary hero creature. The flavor of Deathpact Angel fits perfectly with D.Va

Genji - Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni - Ink-Eyes was chosen mostly because of her creature type,

Hanzo - Brigid, Hero of Kinsbaile - Brigid is the most playable of the legendary archers,

Junkrat - Vial Smasher the Fierce - Smasher has a small body but does a lot of inconsistent and random damage which fits Junkrat,

Lucio - Radha, Heir to Keld - mana abilities speed up the deck similar to Lucio's speed boost. Also I needed another low-cost legend,

McCree - Kamahl, Pit Fighter - both duelists, both do a lot of damage and have low survivability,

Mei - Thalia, Heretic Cathar - opponents' stuff enters the battlefield frozen,

Mercy - Ravos, Soultender - boosts allys and resurrects heroes,

Pharah - Akroma, Angel of Wrath - aerial domination,

Reaper - Zurgo Helmsmasher - awesome flavor, Zurgo hits hard, heals himself by killing and has limited indestructibility,

Reinhardt - Konda, Lord of Eiganjo - deploys the shield when blocking or being blocked (Karn is also a good fit, going from 4/4 to 0/8),

Roadhog - Thrun, the Last Troll - heals himself by regenerating, hexproof is bad flavor tho,

Soldier 76 - Bruse, Boorish Herder - in addition to Commander Morrison I have Soldier 76 because I wanted to include Bruse, but this is one of the cards that might get cut,

Sombra - Linvala, Keeper of Silence - hacks opponents abilities,

Symmetra - Captain Sisay - teleports heroes into battle (Oviya Pashiri is also a good fit - making turrets),

Torbjorn - Tolsimir Wolfblood - perfect fit, boosting teammates with armor packs and making a turret,

Tracer - Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch - first strike and haste are flavorful for Tracer,

Widowmaker - Visara the Dreadful - just headshotting creatures,

Winston - Archangel Avacyn   - flying monkey protects teammates with the bubble, then turns into an enraged animal,

Zarya - Avacyn, Guardian Angel - puts bubbles on other heroes and you, I'm looking for a better fit for this one,

Zenyatta - Eight-and-a-Half-Tails - support for other hearoes, the art fits too.

The rest of the deck is support (legendary if possible). The card advantage part is lacking a bit. Land base is mostly budget taplands and leftover duals.

I made proxies of the hero cards with Set Editor. I don't own the Overwatch artwork. Reaper artwork was made by Jevi93 on DeviantArt (http://jevi93.deviantart.com/art/Overwatch-3-8-Reaper-607858109).
