Decks in my playgroup include Riku of Two Reflections, Vorel of the Hull Clade, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Krenko, Mob Boss, Stitcher Geralf, and Mayael the Anima.

This deck is based around getting +1/+1 counters on creatures. It sometimes wins with commander damage, especially if Anafenza gets a +1/+1 counter herself from a land or the Ascendancy.

There is a sub-theme of Birthing Pod and the Persist mechanic. The Birthing Pod idea makes Yisan, the Wander Bard strong since he can the main combo that this deck can get out in three turns.

There are a decent amount of cards in this deck with a CMC of 3 or less, making Sun Titan very powerful.

Combo:

Kitchen Finks + Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Viscera Seer

This allows you to sacrifice Kitchen Finks for the effect of Viscera Seer infinitely if Kitchen Finks does not already have a -1/-1 counter on it since persist will not cause it to get a counter due to Melira, Sylvok Outcast. You can then gain however-much life you like and scry your entire deck for the next card you want to draw, then do it again for later.

Cathars' Crusade + Hero of Bladehold .

A smaller combo, but it gets two 4/3 attacking Soldiers each turn along with buffing other creatures, if any, are present.
