Primer for crafting Pioneer decks based around Day's Undoing + Fevered Visions combo.

There are a few factors to consider when brewing around the combo:

  • Control is a good shell around our combo since Fevered Visions (and opt. Sphinx's Tutelage) provides us with a great clock to play around
  • Cheap removal that would otherwise yield card advantage (such as Declaration in Stone) becomes extremely powerful due to the replenish potential of Day's Undoing + Fevered Visions
  • Graveyard shenanigans our opponents might play are compromised by Day's Undoing shuffling back their graveyard into their deck
  • Exile effects will eventually thin out the opponents deck and help us secure the win in a prolonged game. Because Day's Undoing will soft restart the game multiple times, our exile counterspells/removals will be shuffled back but the opponent's card will remained exiled and they will flood.
  • It's very easy to come up with creature-less deck versions which means all creature hate cards in our opponent hands are completely dead :)

I'm working on several deck lists using this combo and will be happy to include any suggestions from other brewers:
