Hi all. Looking to improve on / share my main EDH deck. It is a Marchesa the Black Rose toolbox deck that can dominate almost any board. It is not meta'd towards ant given deck, but performs equally against anything.

Traditionally Marchesa decks fall to graveyard exiling effects (hello Rest in Peace!) but this one is resilient to even those!

There are many synergies and combos in the deck, and many ways to tutor up answers. The main combo piece in the deck is Sage of Fables. It, plus any sac engine and any wizard ability card or ETB wizard effect, is essentially an ability at every end of turn! Man does that not sound exciting!

Let me set it up for you this way:Sage of Fables + Venser, Shaper Savant + Viscera Seer bounces one permanent EVERY TURN. That means that in a four player game, four permanents are returned at every round. You can switch up and use any sac engine and any creature for different effects:Disciple of Bolas gives you life gain and card draw.Archaeomancer recurs the most annoying instants and sorceries (Mana Drain every turn being my most favorite).Trinket Mage allows you to get your ramp and card selection up quickly.

The other sac engines--Goblin Bombardment and Carrion Feeder--are excellent ways of stacking on amazing amounts of damage, and are the two damage infinites in the deck.

Here's the combo:Sage of Fables + sac engine + persist creature = infinite.Glen Elendra Archmage + Goblin Bombardment + Sage of Fables = infinite damage.Puppeteer Clique + Sage of Fables + Viscera Seer = infinite scry + infinite reanimate enemy gravesThere are other degenerate infinites that work around these combos too. Even if you don't have a damage infinite, you can still use the recurring creatures to, say, draw your whole deck?Azami, Lady of Scrolls + Glen Elendra Archmage + Sage of Fables anyone?Hows about infinite counterspell?Glen Elendra + Patron Wizard + Sage of Fables

The deck does not necesarilly need to get the combo going to win. The beauty of it is the wizard package words on its own. Having a Dark Confidant on the board with a null Sage of Epityr and Trinket Mage doesn't seem too great. Once you get Marchesa, the Black Rose out, and tokens on them, however, things can get out of hand. Azami, Lady of Scrolls also makes things very difficult for your opponent, and works very will with instant speed tutors like Vampiric Tutor and Mystical Tutor.
