Maybeboard

This deck will typically take one of two routes: the Starfield of Nyx route or the Enchanted Evening route (as they are mutually exclusive). The former maximizes the card search abilities of Sterling Grove and Defense of the Heart to build up that pillow fort before going for the Enduring Ideal and Hive Mind finisher or getting enough enchantments out to have creature advantage and flood attacks. The latter relies on ruining your opponents' lives once everything is an enchantment with hate cards like Aura Thief, Cleansing Meditation, Primeval Light and global-buffed cards like Ancestral Mask and Yavimaya Enchantress. With both routes, getting Sterling Grove out makes life much easier, but there are other worthy tutor targets like Land Tax, Kruphix, God of Horizons, and Nyxbloom Ancient to increase the speed of the deck.

The pillow fort aspect can be played to either draw attention or distract it. Cards like Kismet, Archetype of Imagination, Dragonlord Dromoka, and Stoic Angel can quickly make you a target in multiplayer matches (which this deck is best suited for). But, cards like Karmic Justice, Sphere of Safety, Ivory Mask and Sigarda, Host of Herons make it difficult for your opponents to approach without reproach. Regardless of play style, cards like Privileged Position and especially Sterling Grove are essential.

There is much more focus on card draw than ramp in the deck which can cripple it early on if the lands don't come quickly. This deck runs on far fewer lands than I am normally comfortable with in EDH, but its pillow fort capabilities allow you to fly under the radar early on in multiplayer then quickly turn the board advantage to your favor with one or two cards. With the amount of card draw in the deck, getting Kruphix, God of Horizons, Library of Leng, or Reliquary Tower helps maintain goodies until Serra's Sanctum, Mana Reflection, and/or Nyxbloom Ancient are hit. If the deck works (still a bigger if that I would like - suggestion more than welcome), by turn 8 it should hopefully be positioned to win regardless of the number of opponents.

Aggro decks can take a huge chunk out of this deck before it gets its legs under it. Taking out reactionary cards like Night Soil and replacing them with a couple lands and more ramp like Kodama's Reach can balance this deck's defense to suit more aggressive opponents. Landstill/destruction can also ruin this deck; but with access to green, there are great solutions available: Splendid Reclamation, Titania, Protector of Argoth, Abundance, and Bounty of the Luxa.

Some other good sideboard options are:

Originally, Derevi, Empyrial Tactician was the general for the deck. I think she is still a great option, especially since her ability can speed up the deck early on (being able to tap Serra's Sanctum twice in one phase is devastating). If she is used, I would recommend other multi-mana producing lands, like the Ravnica duals. I find they are slow on their own, but with Derevi's ability, they are quite powerful.

I am definitely open to adjusting this deck more! It seems every new block adds tons of versatility with the enchantress archetype and I would love to discuss some different ways this deck could go (side note: when I first built this deck on tappedout, its price was about $450. The new sets have SERIOUSLY increased the value of some of these cards - so, building enchantress decks is a great investment haha). The archived discussion relates to an older version of the deck, but it contains some interesting ideas if you're looking to build an enchantress of your own. Thanks for stopping by!

Original card // New card // reason
Eidolon of Blossoms // Setessan Champion // she's just better
Dominating Licid // Kiora Bests the Sea God // the deck needed more oompf
Kodama's Reach // Nessian Wanderer // this one might be undone...
Leyline of Anticipation // Archon of Sun's Grace // The leyline wasn't doing much
Ethereal Armor // Dryad of the Ilysian Grove // With the helm and mask, the armor was superfluous and the deck needed more ramp
Mirari's Wake // Nyxbloom Ancient // 3x > +1
