Just getting started with Samut. Basically set aside all the cards I was interested in running and whittled it down to this. The game plan is to ramp into aggressive creatures that synergize with Samut. I've left out a lot of tutor effects like Stoneforge Mystic, Fauna Shaman/Survival, Tooth and Nail, etc. just to keep the power level lower and play with some different cards.

I also left out a lot of the 3 and 4 mana green ramp spells opting instead for 3 drop creatures that tap for mana. My deck has a fair number of 1 and 2 drops but a very high concentration of 3 drops. I also runs no signets so I am considering adding more 1 drop elves for mana dorks. Playing one t1, you can curve into 3 drops on turn 2 more often.

My meta is a group of long time players that have well built decks but not what I would consider competitive EDH. You don't have to run all the "meta-gamey low cmc"-type cards you see in that environment. People are casual and looking for good games.

I am hoping to get feedback on the mana base (or the deck in general) and suggestions about cards to consider running. Thanks for looking!
