Hello all ! This is my take on Jared Carthalion, true heir . In my many years of playing MTG I've learned that I enjoy games and playstyles that lead to fun and memorable moments of MTG more than outright winning games (although we are trying to do that as well) jared really stood out to me as a deck that checks all the boxes of a strong yet interactive and fun deck , that should be able to hold it's own against the myriad of pre-cons that are flooding the market these days. I really looked at the directions one could go with this deck and decided to brew Naya monarch pillow-fort . With a human tribal sub theme. Also I am a compulsive budget deck builder so this list is missing some more obvious includes the eldraine court cycle , Marisi etc... Originally I began the deck with a masochistic sub theme including brash taunter , stuffy doll , boros reckoner in tandem with cards like blasphemous act , pariah , star storm . And while blasphemous and star-storm made the final cut the card package was a little too shallow to warrant keeping it . I think it's a totally reasonable strategy I just decided to slot in the human tribal synergy as many of the cards that synergize with jared happen to be humans .

The Main Win-Cons of this deck are still blasphemous act or star storm with jared along with whisper-silk cloak or trail-blazers boots .

With All these universes beyond decks coming out and magic changing so much the last few years I wanted to pay homage to an OG in the magic universe . Jarad the shadow mage is an epic character in the lore of MTG . I mean , this man used a black lotus to summon a shivan dragon . C'mon .
